The spring has a light coating of oil. In transit a sharp shock to the package can cause the spring to jump and stick to itself due to the oil coating. This is the cause of 90% of arrival issues. A sharp slap into the palm can fix this easily. -
Both are trusted dealers and both will send what you buy,

three millimeters is not going to stop me. -
For those people who have been around for a few years, this is obviously a 4 or 5 year old Cartel piece from one of our trusted dealers. I remember when it was released. Yellowed markers which don't touch the rehaut.

You need to adjust the GMT hand then set its gears by changing the date. Once you do this, the GMT hand will be locked

I put my lovely 1950 on the black "distressed" strap that came with my new Bronzo ... I think it looks fantastic.

Average turn-around on a returned watch is three months. I think I said this, originally.

Hello! Your two links are both relatively modern Rolex watches. One is a "nipple dial" Rolex, called this because of it's pointy, cone shape hour markers, and the second link you chose is for a very recent Ceramic Rolex watch. This is what you want, if you are looking for a "classic" Rolex diver watch http://puretime-asia.com/product/vintage-sea-dweller-1665-great-white-white-lume-dial-a21j/

hello there - enjoy your new hobby. what kind of thing are you looking for. -
When it comes to luxury items, most of the price is driven by popularity. As they say, Rolex makes an excellent $500 wristwatch. The other $8000 on the price tag is pure illusion.

Maybe you guys are not reading it through .. 50.000 casualties in a day .. not the entire war. Please don't play down the death and dismemberment of human beings by saying they "should have known" ... 620,000 American soldiers dead in four years .. over 1,000,000 casualties. Maybe that number is too large to think about in real terms. I think the real truth here is that since we're talking about events from 150 years ago, they don't seem real. and so they are overlooked.

If the current crop of replicas for a specific model are inaccurate, then there is not much you can do. Part of this hobby is putting up with certain failings, such as a fixed PR hand when the available movements do not have a PR function. As for affiliations, I believe that a few dealers agreed to sponsor the operating costs for this page, in return for ad space.

Not to lessen 9/11 in any way, but the worst? How about the Brits burning our Capitol city to the ground? Or any major Civil War battle .. 50,000 American casualties in one day? My wife's cousin is on the memorial rail at ground zero, so please don't wave any angry flags in my face.

This is perfectly fine. The weight is meant to swirl. That is it's job. Putting the watch into a watch winder will swirl the weight many many times. 800 a day is the average swirl from a winder.
-
good one! You are not hurting the watch by winding it gently once a day. The ETA design will be fully wound @ 40 complete turns of the crown if you start from a dead watch. It is not possible to overwind an automatic watch, since there is a slip-clutch design inside the spring barrel. Since you work at a desk, and don't move around much during the day, I suggest you wind it every other morning. Winding it every day is overkill. Do this, and have it cleaned and serviced every three to five years and it will last a lifetime.

I am so glad to hear that this is the case. It is the only way to do this properly. It's the smart thing to do. Ziggy would book your appointment and take a fee of $50. He'd tell you when to send the watch, and if you blew him off and never sent the watch, he'd keep the $50 to cover his lost appointment and he'd blacklist you as a time-waster.
