newbie - needs some guidance on acronyms
Jkay replied to toosmokeduptosee's topic in General Discussion
MBW is Maria's Best Watch. That is a dealer who has not been in business for 5 or 6 years. Maria used to source the watches at a mall in Thailand named MBK. You can still buy these watches there. -

BK is actually a man in the USA who imports a select few NoobFactory watches and re-sells them. -
I'll save you a little trouble ... this is KB's small but useful web store, and the Mul-Bag section. He can get more than is on this site but it's a start http://replicaplaza.net/index.php?route=product/category&path=89_109

My main goal was to clean up the fingerprints and oil streaks. I do not care about the watch beginning to patinate now.
-
-
I have never owned a Plop .. sorry. This watch is more comfortable than my DSSD if that helps.
-
-
Patinated fingerprints at 9 and 6 .. long black streak from 12 to 3 on the edge, the crownguard has a black streak along it's full length, and the bezel markers at 3, 6, and 9 are discolored. Let me be clear that I did not believe that the watch had something wrong with it. This watch is made to discolor. It's designed that way. I just wanted to control the process from the ground up so I brought it back to bare metal.

A squirt of tomato ketchup straight from the bottle onto my new Bronzo completely cleaned the factory oil, fingerprints, and light patination leaving a clean slate for me to start from. This took 30 seconds.

Hey everyone. I posted a dealer review that I think makes some important points, and since most people don't fully navigate this site, I thought I'd cross-link it over here. click me! http://www.rwgforum.net/topic/169546-toro-comes-through-and-saves-the-day-my-new-dealer-of-choice/?p=1331851 thanks.

This is easy: vintage Rolex are so easy to wear and timeless classics. Taste-makers. 1680 and 1665 great white are my faves

Yes. Our watches are taken apart and each piece is inspected then cleaned or replaced. Then it's meticulously oiled and reassembled. That's what a service is. -

Are you asking if replica watches can be serviced? Yes, once every 3 to 5 years .. the oil evaporates. -
Watch Eden is one of the few trusted dealers who bothers to put mid-range replicas on their web site. Most TDs get moist eyed about the current trend to double prices and pimp "ultra reps" It is really this simple - if you will be happy with a cheap and cheerful replica, then get one. Don't let anyone tell you that you have to shell out bigger money to feel better about yourself.

My new Toro Bravo Bronzo on limited edition Gunny leather
Jkay replied to Jkay's topic in The Panerai Area
It's bright colored (like International Orange) and geometric patterned Calvin Klein underwear with no fly hole, and a balls/crank pocket/bulge molded into the synthetic fabric. -

Jkay replied to Jkay's topic in The Panerai Area
I was supposed to get mine two weeks ago, but Toro's shipping agent sent me a six-pack of replica underwear instead. Toro came through, and re-shipped new watches, after trying to find my actual parcel. This is why we use trusted dealers. and also .. this is why they deserve our trust. Oh, and to the guy who ordered six underpants and got my $600 of watches .. fuck you you'll never be that lucky again, in life. -
He is in Australia so he is possibly as many as 12 hours out of sync with you. Keep that in mind. He will probably see this here.
-
A huge "thank you" to Toro for coming through on this very tough delivery. You have won a life-long customer . . The keeper is not Gunny .. it is around here someplace!!

It sounds like Vac needs a personal secretary, like The Zigmeister had. Someone to do the email work.

Your watch is certainly gathering a nice surface patina (not the color, the marks)

Hello there! Due to the complexity of the SkyDweller's mechanism, there are no 1:1 replicas. You can get a decent looking watch but it's nothing close to a Super Replica. Welcome to the forum, and I hope you enjoy your time here. LOOK HERE ON THIS TRUSTED FORUM DEALER SITE --- http://www.watcheden.net/sky-dweller-c-354-c-3234.html

Sea-Dweller DeepSea 116660 Black Ceramic 1:1 Noob Best Edition A3135
Jkay replied to Stayhot's topic in The Rolex Area
Sure. One of those DSSDs has a perfectly straight triangle at 12, on the insert. The other triangle is curved, but it's curved too much .. so neither insert is exactly like the Gen. One of those DSSDs has "white gold" hour markers that have exquisitely slender rims, and the other DSSD's hour markers are noticeably fatter. Neither is 100% correct but I have been know for years to greatly admire the thinner surrounds. -

Coffindodger, I'm sorry but that DSSD is a NoobFactory. Look at yours, and look at the one above it presented by AgentOso ... totally different.
