  1. Thanks Nelly. I agree, Blade Runner is the best. And the new, digitally remastered "Final Cut" is out of this world...
  2. Me too, I want one too... I'd probably buy two, for crying out loud.
  3. I finished some minor adjustments to our combined movie/music room. This is the place (apart from my office...) where I/we spend quite some time. It's only 3,70 x 3,20 x 2,20 m, almost a cube, so I did have some acoustical problems. The size has one advantage though, the 47" flat panel is more than sufficient... Now it's the best listening room I ever had. Cheers, Volker SweetSpot
  4. Cool site, thanks... And, of course, cool watch.
  5. Classy and tasteful, thanks for sharing Sport Ice... and yeah, where did you buy that watch case?
  6. Happy New Year, admin, crew and all the rest of us... Peace & Love, Volker
  7. That's difficult... I like this one a lot, it's getting more wrist time than the others (that can change, though...) Cheers, Volker
  8. We thought they might... Very best wishes for the new year to you and your family... Volker
  9. So, it's time to wish all of you guys and gals a merry Christmas and a healthy, prosperous and most of all a peaceful new year. Also, I'd like to thank Rob, Ken, ajoesmith, Carl E., Aaron, PT (UK), Josh and DSN for pleasant dealings and contact. And hugs to our Admin up North (takk for innsatsen din) and the team for their endless effort. Special greetings and more hugs to Saso, Shane, LordRasta, Cyril, Matt, cornerstone, TT, S
  10. BTW, I'm surprised this wasn't posted already, Ryyannon. *ggg* "I told a high school girl... I love you inside me... Now poop on them Oliver" Priceless.
  11. Great review Pugwash and a fine watch, thanks. And you are absolutely right, Precious Time is THE man for QC and service, when you're living in Europe. Cheers...
  12. Great shots, great watch, thanks for posting. Now see what you done... I want one too now The custom-made Manifatture Firenze strap (Sportech, with specially-bought blue thread) that Victoria suggests, would give it the last touch... Wear it well, kille...
  13. I have been using the Braun for many years now and I like it (and I don't mind the noise). When it comes to avoid building up tartar and massaging your gums, there is nothing better. However, the rotating/vibrating brush is very effective, perhaps too effective, so you have to be careful with your choice of toothpaste. Don't use toothpaste with too much scouring-powder in it, because you will brush the enamel off your teeth, if you do. You should also be aware not to use pressure on the brush and not to brush longer than about one minute. Cheers, Volker
  14. Not so much reading, LordRasta, it's a picture book. Pictures taken from a light airplane all over this lovely planet. Anyway, thanks to you and slai for getting this on the road... Cheers, Volker
  15. The "Professional plier for fitting and removing spring bars" is 39.99 EUR at http://www.watch-tool.de/, kind of expensive... And the actual tools are just as large as the one you have, I reckon. I fu**ed up my removal tool in the operation too, BTW.
  16. Wow, Chico Buarque , he is so great. Thanks Victoria. If you like him, you most certainly like Caetano Veloso too...
  17. Hmm Niclas, I thought it was quite an easy task, easier than other members here said it was. If I remember correctly, I used the special spring removal tool (of course) and worked on one side first, while applying a fare amount of pull to the bracelet with my thumb and index finger. Luckily the spring stayed where I put it (that's essential, I think), when I went to work on the other side, still pulling the bracelet. Hope this somehow helps. Cheers, Volker
  18. Thought so, happened to me too, navigating the site with the red thingy on my ThinkPad....
  19. Yo, mikellem, why are you rating kruzer's post as unfriendly?
