  1. Hmm, I don't know. The one I have is the first version, third edition. That's the one I saw on amazon.ca for about 34.60...
  2. Yeah, she was a bright sparkling star, so sweet and talented. Great loss for all of us... RIP BTW., fitmic, I absolutely agree with you on Kent, they are great! Living in Denmark we can only look with envy to the Swedish, so many great artists... I'm particularly fond of Bo Kaspers Orkester, I've seen them many times.
  3. Done. Now, who is taking care of the book?
  4. The book is 34,65 $ at amazon.ca... Shipment shouldn't be so expensive as it ships from within Canada, even though it weighs 9.6 pounds and is quite big....
  5. I am not particularly fond of giving away alcohol for a present... I think, f.x. Yann Arthus-Bertrand's breathtakingly beautiful book "The Earth From Above" would be more appropriate for a guy like The Zigmeister (if he hasn't got it already). I mean, look at his paintings. The book is a keeper, the Patron will be gone once the bottle is empty...
  6. Now do you mind, please... That (beautiful) car goes for about 300.000 USD here in Denmark. You'd have to be a or a to afford that kind of car. Congrats CJ, I envy you. Drive carefully ! BTW. Love the watch too.
  7. Just stumbled over this: http://www.lindewerdelin.com/ The black Elemental on rubber is quite nice, although too edgy and futuristic for my taste and at a price of
  8. Here's mine on faux (dyed) gator. I have ordered a HKTan Gator Pilot strap, I'll post pics as soon as I have it.
  9. That Pam is so beautiful, Rolli, ich bin sprachlos... what can I say...
  10. Welcome on board, Olly. I would so much like a U1, but can't afford one right now. But thanks for the offer, I might get in contact next year. Cheers, Volker
  11. Sorry sorry, didn't mean to give a bad spelling, it happened when I scrolled with the red pointer-thingy on my Thinkpad. So beautyful work done on these watches. Makes all the difference....
  12. Great info, Bodo, I'll go and see them next time I'm in Essen-Werden
  13. A 45 mm? I would be all over it, wow... ... especially if it came with one of these movements That's because I'm more into simple, clean design...
  14. He never left (Mussolini)... in some parts of that great country, anyway... I lost two eBay shipments, snatched by postal workers in Milano. I am not shipping to Italy any more...
  15. Beatles, Pink Floyd, Stones, Steve Miller, Frank Zappa (Mothers), Stan Gets, Ben Webster, Sony Rollings, Weather Report, Weather Update, Zawinul Syndicate, Taj Mahal, Tito Puente, Gilberto Gil, Gorge Ben, Tania Maria, Milton Nascimento, Los Van Van, Gruppo Irakere, Buena Vista Social Club, Airto Moreira & Flora Purim, Sivuca, Sergio Mendes, Sam Mangwana, Kanda Bongo Man, Salif Keita, Ladysmith Black Mambaso, Papa Wemba, Peter Gabriel, Sting, Daniel Lanois, Bo Kaspers Orkester, Kent...
  16. All the records are in mint condition, no scratches, fingerprints and what have we. The covers show the age, though, I haven't got them in protective sleeves. The first one I bought in 1972: It's still very good music. When Janet Jackson used a sample from "The Cisco Kid" (first tune on that one) on her CD, I "rediscovered" War and was amazed how good these guys actually were. The collection (half of it stuffed away in boxes in the basement, I don't really have space in my music/movie room) is everything from Jazz (Jaco Pastorious, Stan Gets, Steve Khan, Michael Brecker, Niels Henning
  17. Great V, love your stitching (I can see you use an awl and two needles, that's the way to do it...)
  18. Wow, you still have LPs. Do you actually play them? I have about 2400 of them and a great turntable/tonearm/cartridge combo. Great idea for pics...
  19. Dank je wel voor die mooie woord, richyman You got to be kidding, Ken. Me in Armani trench coat would look like an elephant in a swim suit... Thanks for your nice comments, guys.
