Making it a secret isn't a good idea, and choosing who is worthy is not an enviable task. Who decides if you are eligible to be informed of the new forum?? Who is trusted enough?? see where I am going, elitism isn't an option. I am merely suggesting that we make it more difficult to find through search engines, so that any dipshit that types in replica sub doesn't end up here or RWI/TRC. We want to limit exposure by selecting our keywords, not make a new super secret forum founded on elitism and a class system, these are not foundations for the kind of community I would like to be associated with. Hey Guys, First off hello again, been a while since I have posted anything, i'm still alive don't worry. To all my many friends from the boards, HELLO!! I still luv ya you know who you are. Now to business. I think that the time has come to go back in time a bit. Unfortunately for one reason or another we are being targetted, either by some of our own, or by those who despise our hobby. Either way it's time to act, IMHO. We have been lazy, and taken for granted all of the things that use to make this community great. We have taken for granted the ease with which we can illicit ILLEGAL goods. Well I say NO MORE. The names of the FORUMS (Plural) should be changed to remove Replica for them, and the meta tags and keywords should not include replica, or any manufacturer names. Obviously this will dramatically affect the amount of new members and hits the site gets, but in the long run it is IMHO best for the community as a whole. We will limit the amount of arseholes who come here post once if at all, and order from a dealer, it doesn't arrive in 4 days, or isn't 100% exact to genuine so file complaints and make life hard for dealers. The use of Paypal is gone, but that is not the topic of this thread, at least with PP we had security over demanding quality of service, but this has been abused beyond breaking point. So we go back to blackmarket efforts of cash up front, with no safety blanket, which to be fair is (I Imagine, of course) how much illegal dealing is done. I am disappointed that it has come to the point where it has been ruined for us but greed and gluttony are two of mankind's greatest flaws. It's time to take action and attempt to prevent anymore major issues. Of course we are never not going to have the community, not in days of offshore hosting etc. But I ask you how much fun the forum will be with no dealers, and nowhere to buy new watches, there is only so much we can talk about regarding the watches in our collections. Convo's like "Oh look at this ??? I wish we could still buy reps, cos a rep of this would be great" SUCKS!!! Wneed to keep the ability to buy new watches, or the forum will wither and die, with only the true veterans hanging on for the memories, and the idle everday chit chat among friends who have now known each other quite some time. Please don't make this about PP or any other payment method that is relatively immaterial, this day was coming and the sooner we do something about it the better. Enjoy! Edge

I recently had my W950i unlocked and debranded by these guys at SEunlock.co.uk. I cannot recommend them high enough. Well worth the money, It has increased the speed immeasurably, as well as enhancing the functions and reinstating the proper menu and capabilities. Well Lads i've done it, I have gone and decided exactly what I'm getting myself for christmas. Yes it's a bit of a shock, I have gone with Ken's advice and plumped for a bloody Omega lol. Dear All, I have been gone for a while and am gonna be around a bit mor over the coming weeks. I am looking for your input on something. I need to get my self a new watch. I currently hold a 111h, 1680, Mil. Tudor Sub, and the RWI watch. The 1680 gets the most wrist time as it is more ameanable to my work as it looks better with black, prolly due to the 111h being on a brown BOB Vertigo lol. I have had a few gens and reps which I have bought and sold. I am looking to add a new one to my collection. I want your suggestions as to what you think would be the best choice. I am really struggling to make a decision as to what to buy. I was thinking about the Bell and Ross but having seen wrist shots I am not so keen. It looks good in pics but on the wrist i'm not so sure. I amn't interested in anything old manish or another BASE panerai as it would be too similar to the 111h, I like the thought of the 127 or the 212 but not too sure about the difference in size between 44 and 47 for the 127. I just want you guys' input into what you'd suggest. ALL PICS OF SUGGESTIONS ARE MORE THAN WELCOME. So have at me guys what should I get for christmas for myself. Edge!

IME, I have found that the dremel is too fast and that it's too easy for mistakes to be made. Best idea IMHO is to use a small file and just plug away nice and gently slowly reshaphing the edges, as it's a finesse thing not a "hurry up and look better" kind of procedure. If you MUST use a rotary device try a simple low speed hand held drill it'd much more ameanable to the task, however as I say the file is my weapon of choice. Edge

Personally i'd possibly opt for TTK if he has any in stock as his are very similar to the others, but you have to be prepared to get an Asian movement, which nowadays I really don't see much of a problem with. There are straps available for Fm but aftermarket and they are not too bad. I wouldn't even entertain the possibility of buying a gen FM anything lol, the prices are ridonculous hahaha PS You can buy it direct froma dealer with leather, can't atest to the strap quality, but it's cheaper and you wouldn't have to ever look at the bracelet if you don't like it. I as with you prefer it on leather.

Sorry I know I've been away a while but I really can't believe it took till post #42 for someone to mention the Conq. Conq is hands down the best out of box rep for accuracy, you would NEVER tell the difference the only issue with it is the rotor, and who the hell is gonna see that?? Sorry guys but thems the facts. It doesn't require a gen dial and the hands are so close that its ALMOST indistinguishable, and when you can COMFORTABLY take it into AD and them not think twice bout it's authenticity then thats cool with me. I wish I had a pound for evey took my Conq into an AD story. Edge
