One of these days thogaa, one of these days I'm gonna push that button... Bang! Zoom! Straight to the moon! (I actually own a mint cfx400, which for obvious reasons i cant afford to wear, so i wear this reissue instead)
-

Hey Thogaa, no he didn't mention, and there wasn't a QC pic of the pressure test, only mention is the text in the QC disclaimer (all watches worth more than $200 will receive testing to 30atms). The caseback did need tightening when it arrived. was only finger tight. Here's the pics as promised. Only got two away with the big cam before the battery died... where there are two plops, the one on mesh is the V1 The rest are with a small (but quality) ixy point and click the bevel finish: The finish Finish compare and bezel ridge difference: the lug finish (much much better): New clasp: The rubber is less black than the V1, not by much though. Don't know which is more accurate: Unscrewed crown: Crown difference (external thread like gen, not internal like V1): rear: crown side rear showing circular brushing: the Date window and thicker edged hands, this one shows the circular brushing on front: And finally the lume. Charged in daylight, this snap taken after about 2mins: -
I agree, judging by that 10 and the clasp (the thumbnail definition is too good for a later model) it look to be a v3.

Yep, thats for sure. This rep is so accurate its kidding. IMO it will go down as one of the best reps ever. You heard it here first! Yes the bezel turns both ways as per the gen. The button depresses and releases with a firm click. The finish is superb. The finish around and crown guards and especially the lugs is much MUCH better. The rounded lug corners of the V1 are gone. So that, along with the soft rubber, makes the rubber wear really well! I own the gen mesh (thanks Wheaton) but its going to stay on the rubber for while, cos it looks so cool now that its accurate and comfortable. I've tested the lume. The lume on the V1 is the best rep lume OOB i had ever seen, but this is even better. It is a lighter shade of blue but the glow lasts much longer - maybe an hour at reasonably bright. Its superlume bright at first (like the v1 was). The xtal doesn't have as strong an AR hue, the clasp isn't as sharp. Its all good. The biggest difference to the eye is the case edge bevel. To look at from arms distance, it gives it the appearance of being softer in its angles - like the gen. All the marking are there to my knowledge. The only un-gen-line fault i can pick is how the bezel turns. The V1 had a more accurate rotation. Firm and clunky. While this is stiff and hard. But again, like the gen, bezel turning requires two hands and you have to take the watch off to rotate the bezel so it doesn't matter. Will take some more pics tomorrow (its night now) if someone with better photog skills doesn't beat me to it. -

Hi, mine arrived today and it's very good! The V1 was was excellent as well, but this has a lot of little fixes. There's no doubt this is a completely new case set, the edge bevel is wider, The finish much better and the ridges on the bezel are different, slightly thinner. The Bezel is very stiff clicking and it cannot be turned without pressing the button (nice). The rubber is super soft. Softer than the gen, So it's actually wearable on this version. The clasp is completely different of course and much better. The etching is deeper and the paint blacker. IMO the dial and date is the same i think, but the hands themselves are thicker with thicker edges. Oh, and the logo doesn't have happy feet. -

Yep, excited about mine, if you owned the v1 then you'll know that it was already a SUPER accurate rep visually. Up there with or even better than the SOH v2, and from the pics, i can't see any steps backwards (on the black one at least, pity about bezel text thickness on the white v2). Will have mine pressure tested asap after it arrives -
Your favorite watch recommendation

Ooh, i want that recipe, so i'm suggesting the SOH (v2 shown). Its 46.5mm i think... On mesh: On a 7'5'' wrist: -

By way of aplology to the readership for the thread crap earlier, here's a comparision shot of my QC pic Vs. my current plop logos. It does apear that that the happy feet are gone but i will reserve judgement till I have the watch in hand. If they are gone, while its a huge improvement the logo is still not perfect - the real deal has thinner and longer feet. Though I'm only judging by this one QC shot and could be totally off the mark. Jos sent 5 QC pics but this is the only one that clearly shows the logo. Perhaps someone else will have a clearer look at it in their QC pics... -

It's my understanding that there were a lot of troubles with PM's and downtime at RG at that time. So how about figuring those ACTUAL facts instead of dreaming up that the facts are pointing to I'm trying to rip you? In case you hadn't noticed already, I'm offended by your accusation. You have my money, i have a faulty CG - who's being ripped? Seriously, this the first time I've ever heard the seller accuse the buyer of trying to rip them. Sheesh. I will return it now that i have your address. Hopefully you'll do the honorable thing. FTR: I didn't go to another forum to 'blame' you... _This_ is my forum. I went to _another_ forum to buy a CG from you. Sorry Mods, clean up on aisle three. -

Wow, why would think i was trying to rip you off? Where _exactly_ in that does it say i want you to send me a new one without me returning the old one? a) If i didn't respond it means i probably didn't see it - its says right there there were problems with the site. b ) There were others both on this forum at RG who the same problem. Check the thread. You sent them screws. c) d) If you put as much effort into the problem with the faulty product you sold me as you did signing up here and making this post - I'd have a decent crown guard now instead of a dust-collecting door stop for tiny town. -

Ahaha, at least you still have yr sense of humor. Ask for Tramadol. Oxy's are fun but don't work on head/tooth pain. Tramadol is very effective on accute pain. -

i'm sure we will! after two burnings from other dealers I've come to trust Jos. And being the impatient person I am... 4 days to Australia (and the guarantee of fixing any probs) is worth that premium for me. -

My first experience with reps was at bali. While they're super innacurate. One of them still works and looks good nearly 15 years later! -

Hmm... nice one. While i'll continue to buy from Jos cos he's solid as houses (and have been burned before ETZ and trusted dealer at RG), do you mind me asking who the dealer is for interests sake? -

Are you sure its the ult? Does the bezel lock work? Divers extension on clasp? Two peice case-back and solid sapphire xtal? The black ult only came out yesterday... -

Sure, $358 + shipping ($25). The way I understand it, Josh gets exclusivity on these for a couple weeks at least (maybe - is it andrew - as well?) So i'm sure we paid the same -
