I have way too many reps and only wear 4-5 with any regularity (foregoing the gens). I think i'd wear the others more if i had less but cant seem to part with them. I've been thinking to downsize but internalize a silly reason why i should keep each one. For example, I have the beautiful FM CCK. I change the strap for the bracelet every now and again but just so i can sit it on my desk and look at it. It's never left the house but i would miss it if i flipped it.

I can tell you that mine (not bought from Mary) doesn't fit cartel 220 or 113, but it does fit the cartel 088. But it is exceptionally well made. One of, if not the best rep bracelet i own, and i own many.

Perhaps some will appreciate this. I've seen the gen Speedy date on sale at Ad's in both Aus and SG this week. $2500AUD and $2700SGD. Thats $2500USD and about 40% off i believe. Blue dial only. There are some other ladies watches and less popular mens as well but i didn't check the prices.

I've bought a Patek 24 hours (think thats what its called), steel with diamonds on each side. Very nice watch to look at and a solid rep. The only pickable fault is the diamond count. Should have 15 each side instead if 16. But seriously, someone would have to be way closer than punching distance to yr missus to spot that. Bought it from josh. Comes with a huge band and very easily sizaeable to very small as well. The j12 seems to be very pop though and i saw a three year old HK street quartz the other day and was amazed at the quality. I can only imagine the current crop from our dealers would be outstanding,

Optical disc format will be dead within a few short years (with the exception of music discs). Digital delivery and storage will be the go. Don't waste your time, or ink with this. Get yourself a hacked Xbox1 for SD or something else for HD that has 'library' capabilities and you'll never look back.

Thanks! Just skin diving/snorkelling. The choice came down to between this and a 2004 Moon watch. Chose this for it's water reststance and size and life expectancy in the sub tropics.

Wow, i thought about this all day, very very hard to choose. I think I'd pick this over my swiss gens and all my reps (which get worn more than the swiss gens): For me it would just be the sensible choice. It's not pretentious but pretty cool and will last a life time.

Looks exactly like one of mine except for the pearl. Pretty sure it's one revision back of the Cartel Ult. Only difference between this and the latest is the rounded top insert triangle (yours is flat). On the cartel ults they have a little thing built in so the OGEV is always perfectly aligned. The pearl looks like my v3 ult (with bad 10) but that can be fixed easily with a nail file. So it's possible that this is a cartel ult v3 with newer insert. If that was the case the Metal wouldn't be the supposed 316f. It looks good!

Thanks Zig. Even though I won't (or really shouldn't) use a tool on a watch other than for the bracelet - i really enjoy reading these. While I'm being noob, here's a question: Do you think it possible they made the dateweheel so wide as to accommodate future reps with different printing allowing for different date window placement? i.e: they built it this way to fix a whole lot of SDW reps?

All this talk of Pam's lately has made me redicover my 220ult. On older 24/24 now cos the newish 24/22 is kinda junky. What are the new 24/20's like? Do they feel solid and quality?

Yep the only problem is that they dont sit quite flush to to the top - facing side - of the lugs (no biggie) and the large gap between the end and second links (biggie IMHO). really nice look and feel overall though and looks awesome on the OP's watch!

I have a bunch of spare parts for Pam straps (in brisbane) but while I like pams and have 5 of them, im a bit of a nong with the terminology... i can have a look tonight if you can describe the part a bit better...

They have been out for quite some time, but not with the cartel. While the cartel has them now, i think they are sourced from elsewhere as I got mine on the streets of KL 4 months before the cartel had them. The homage delaers have them too. Josh sells them fitted to the 21j 088. OP: looks awesome! edit: oh, and cant vouch for the newer old styl;e bracelet (the 24/22) but they are much better constructed than the older old style one (24/24). really top qual!
