  1. Anyway, its still about aging gracefully. Believe me, confidence in how you look regardless is more attractive than being narcissistically concerned about hair. Bum-fluff from drugs, hair plugs and thickening style products are really quite obvious from a mile away and scream insecurity. I'm just encouraging you to be comfortable in your own skin (even if its showing on top of your head hehe). its the only way forward. Don't fight it - it's bigger than both of us. Chicks ar$es get bigger as they age, mens hair get thinner. its natural.
  2. I prefer to call them 'skin-horns'. Or taking a spin in the 'Recedes-Benz'. Seriously, age with grace. Don't comb it over or do any ridiculous treatments. Buy yourself some clippers and move on.
  3. I'm interested in this, but wondering what are the thoughts (based on pics) from the Omega pro's?
  4. Thanks Rolexman! I have put it back as it came out, will have it pressure tested. Thanks again!
  5. Hi! I'm doing the HEV epoxy mod on my older DSSD. After removing the OGEV, there is a white plastic ring that sits between it and the crystal. Sorry for poor pic, and incase its a non- standard i'll describe it a bit... Its not rubbery like a gasket, it's harder like plastic. it doesn't appear to have silicon grease on it atm, but i wonder if it should? Thanks in advance for any advice.
  6. Hey Mj, if it's a macbook pro you can buy the whole keyboard and replace ($130AUD a couple yrs ago). If only spilled on the keyboard area it shouldn't have gotten past the keyboard due to the construction. Not sure about non-pro macbooks though, but i assume the construction _should_ be similar. Having said that... Mine would turn on and run after similar treatment with coffee - just the keyboard didn't... Good luck!
  7. Nudie and (surprisingly) the Wrangler "cigarette".
  8. Thanks for this. Didn't even know about it and have just booked the horizon grand for oct trip based on this. No more average Accor at CQ for me Oh, and SG in general is a watch lovers heaven.
  9. Yes, really seriously. Probably shouldn't have said it out loud though (*rubs rabbits paw*). And they all work flawlessy to this day. All of them. (*knocks on wood*). I sent one other other watch back though. I broke my Sinn U1 trying to remove the the hands for no reason at all. When i asked Josh for the the spare sparts, he asked me to send it back and he fixed it and EMS'd back no charge. I think if there's any dealer who has the resources to pull this off, it's Jos. Like i said this only sweetens the deal the for me.
  10. Tat is awesome, though can sometimes be slow. Six weeks slow sometimes.
  11. This is great! I've always been a fan of Jos because of the quality of the watches he provides anyway. Having recieved 100% crap out of my previous dealer who promised qc even where Jos officially did not. Not being a fan boy here, the proof is in my watchboxes - have bought 30 items from him, of them only one has ever had problem that needed to be returned. This only sweetens the deal for me, Jos is the man.,
  12. Hehe, he mentioned about something unrelated to this but related to this forum, that he'd rather not let peeps know he's a certified watchsmith.
  13. Defintely leakage but didn't fog up to my knowledge. My guy knows his stuff (don't want to out him, but you all know him VERY well).
  14. I should mention that mine only bubbled at 4atms, whether this is enough to swim in IRL i do not know.
  15. Must have been lucky (for once heh) neither of mine have this clasp problem.
  16. Hi, this one caught my eye too when i saw down in watch internationals section Much cheaper too
  17. Hi, I have the ult that's been ziggied as well (so i assume gaskets were done). No its not waterproof. Had it tested couple weeks ago. The only place it seems to be not watertight was the HE valve, so it needs the epoxy mod (there is a sticky in rlx section) Its true that the HE doesn't push in though.
  18. Sorry I don't understand... what was the problem before?
  19. Oh, hope you get it sorted. I've noticed poor QC recently (now i look for it because of reps hehe) particularly on Omegas. The last two PO's i saw, one in an AD in Malaysia and one in the wild here here in Aus, both had Bezels that didn't allign properly at 12. And Just last last week I tried on the proplof at the AD and the finishing on the inside of the crown guard (crown side) was rough, really rough! Hope your replacement is better!
  20. Well it's a great collection already! But if I had to suggest, i'd say an SOH on mesh. Gotta get me a snowflake...
  21. Black friday eh? Better keep in theme... Great sig Hike!
  22. On my pam220 cartel ult it fits great to case but needs a little filing on the underside of the lever (the part that pushes against the crown). I have held off till, coincidentally this weekend, when the current crown is being replaced with a palp.
  23. The one i have is exactly (and i mean exactly) the same as Torobravo's which are considered pretty good. The only difference is that it comes with screws that will actually fit. Not being a pam expert, i can only vouch for that it's waaaaaay better than the cartel job.
