Easy to build... And with gen DJ case sets readily available on the Bay, this is a cost efficient project as well! The 14270 a few spots above it was also built on the same basic premise with a gen DJ case/crystal with cyclops removed, etc.
Building watches is what truly makes this a hobbyist's hobby, whereas gens are more of a collector's hobby, in my opinion. Both are great, but building frankens is more of a hands on approach, which is what I prefer.
