Yes, definitely a gen 127, but not the one that came originally on that watch For a 3M red, it should have the 45 degree angle bevel; the newer revision that is currently being issued by the RSC's have the taller, straight profile with small bevel...

No rhyme or reason to the flat S. Some have it; some do not. Some are older 16610's or even 16800/0's, some are more recent serial prod... As with anything Rolex, there is nothing definitive as to why this is the case This is all with regards to genuine, BTW...

There is a genuine 3175 for sale on one of the usual sites that sells such things. No guarantee that it would fit the rep case, but having a gen movement frankenstein of such a watch would likely be a first ...not to mention, very cool!

There's no doubt that there are some correct parts here... But there are some that don't seem right as well. My thoughts, after looking at this one is that it's either a poorly restored piece, or maybe one that was put together. The lug engraving looks terrible, however. With vintages, it's always difficult to say for certain what a watch has seen in it's history and lifetime. This is why provenance is so important for collectors, and why pieces lacking sell for less. Of course, no B&P or service history on this one, I see. I think the thing that I'd question the most is why the seller is claiming 'all original' when clearly it is not. Not with that crystal (wrong profile) and bracelet mismatch...

I still love mine, regardless of the inaccuracies. Great watch, nice quality; I love the case construction. One of the few watches that I have in which the flaws don't bother me. In fact, it's the only unmodded piece I have.

Ahhhh.... I forgot about the version using screws to hold the bracelet to the lugs! And that's an MBK Jumbo version as well (not the 3800, which all come with screws at the lugs). Thanks for reminding me DemonSlayer! That one completely slipped my mind....

Yeah, lots of questionable parts on that watch. Interesting that they'd install a rare dial like that into an otherwise sloppy product. The strange things that people do...

There are, I believe two different cases that originate from the MBK stall. Manuel has done a side by side comparison of both; some subtle differences between the two exist.

Arch, For a 16610 LV, I suggest using the no-holes case. It would be much more accurate for your project

Hey guys, The MBK Nautilus is actually very closely modeled to the 3711/G; Jumbo 42mm size, straight hinges, center seconds and ribbed dial. The difference, however is that the gen is 18k WG (along with some other slight variances; the 3711 has wider hands, and indicies that are closer in size -though not necessarily in shape- to the 5711 series). Still one of my favorite reps, BTW.... Was considering the idea of removing the seconds hand with the solid pinion, but decided that I like the balance that the seconds hand provides (personal pref). I am confident, however, that LR's watch will look great with the addition of that CP
