Yes- New Old Stock (NOS) inserts are complete with pearl; anything used or pre-owned should only be considered with an image depicting actual condition.
Have some items and projects in the pipeline, but all in due time. I'm holding out for the right parts for each, and also trying to give the wallet a little bit of a break as well.
Unfortunately, there aren't any real guides or books out there that can help with regards to modifying replica watches. It's more of a 'dig in' and trial and error approach. At least, that's how I got into it.
I'm not very well versed in Breits, but the only thing I can see that you guys may (or may not be) judging your decision on is the pearl, and the '30' on the 6:00 tab. And maybe the AR? Otherwise, I don't see a whole lot that differentiates the two (at least on my monitor).
TT is a sincere, honest, shoot from the hip, say what's on his mind kind of guy. A gentleman of true integrity and as friends go, he defines the term loyal. He's the kind of guy that would give you the shirt off his back, or the last two bucks in his pocket.
I'm proud to call him my friend.
I'm trying to discern the qualities that actually defines the difference between Normal vs. Lite. Based on the list, the only thing I see that differs is the AR. But, maybe I'm missing something?
BT-
I don't always wear my watches in Maradona fashion (just the Daytonas at times); rather, I happened to be snapping some pics of the two that you see in the pic, and was on my way to putting them back to bed in their watch box (I find that the easiest way to move multiple watches around the house is to simply strap them on the wrist ). It just so happened that I took a pic in the mirror for grins and the result is as you see it.
Good story indeed. Now you understand why some of us are so obsessive about modding our watches to achieve that last 0.000005%!
I for one, do not want any hassle from the anals! Especially with that sort of street name.
No thanks.
Silvio-
CG's are untouched! That's how they came, and actually, they do need a bit of a trim. Not much, but just a once over. Someday I'll get around to doing it. For now, they're not bad as-is

@reel- Irish?! Yeah right... With my last name?!
Freddy- Great pics as always!
TT- You do indeed know a Ubi! When are you going to be visiting the Mile High City next?
Thanks, Freddy
On the macro shots, I've been testing out a friend's 50mm lens; dealing with the shallow DOF has been an interesting challenge to work around. Fun none the less, though!

Now, this isn't something that I typically do, but I thought this was kind of fun.
If anyone has wondered what Ubi looks like... Well, keep wondering
For the record... Yes, some of you guys DO know.
Cheers,

Interesting thread; especially regarding the case material.
Coulda fooled me regarding the Ti; it sure leaves fingerprints like it's titanium! I'm constantly wiping this thing down!
How could I have missed this one??
Wow!! I love it! The 029 GMT is one of my absolute faves; the simplicity of the 023T dial takes this to a whole different level.
Absolutely smitten...
It's interesting... My interst in Rolex seems to be somewhat cyclical; I'll be on a vintage binge for a while, and then the pendulum will shift. I tend to go back and forth every so often... I think mostly because I get bored
Personal opinion; the DD's 36mm case is well proportioned, and the lug thickness just looks the best balanced. The wider, thicker lugs of the 41mm look a little too bulky and clumsy to my taste. But, if both were an option, there would be something for everyone looking to obtain a DD
