  1. Sapphire yes, as it's an added piece to the crystal. Acrylic no, as the cyclops is part of the crystal.
  2. BTW... WM has a very nice Nauti Jumbo...
  3. I love my TW Best 3800/1A... I spend quite a bit of time gazing at this one. No mods, as it simply doesn't need them. 99% there as is!
  4. Genuine vs. Ubi-Made... My next and final run of 5 is already sold out!!
  5. No drilling. 19mm springbars carry a smaller end pin diameter than the typical 20mm x 2mm bars.
  6. Personally, I'm not offended by the avatars with sexual content, but I do find them to be in poor taste. Very low class, and a reflection upon the individual using it. What does that tell you about that person? There is a time and place for everything... Even on this forum. If you feel you must post images like this, please keep it in the Girls Girls Gilrs thread. That way, folks can opt to view it or not. If people want to see your girl's ass, they can see it there. In addition, if one is so highly educated and accomplished, then act like it. The use of sexual content in your avatar and/or sig screams 'look at me... I need attention'. The whole 'me, me, me' aspect of it all just confirms it even more. Look what I can do. Look at how much I have spent. Look at MY educational background. Look at MY girlfriend Look at me, look at me, look at me. Sad. Very sad.
  7. You may also want to try Tourbillon1801 as well. He may be able to source these hands...
  8. Oh damn... I never even noticed that. Egads...
  9. Rico, Will the Ti Seawolf not work for her? Personally, I really like this little gem... But, I know that a skeleton isn't for everyone... So... Perhaps a Ladies' Constellation?

If I was making Maciek money, I'd buy 4 kevlar straps at that price!
  11. I wouldn't bother with those in the auction at all. Especially at $48.00. A big waste of money... When I get gen crowns in bulk, I'll sell them for anywhere from $18 - $25 per (depending on how large the lot is). You can get a good, high quality aftermarket tube for $25. So, $25 for the crown and $25 for the tube... You're right at the same price and with a genuine crown. That, to me is a better buy
  12. Was going to post something, but I think it's more interesting if I don't
  13. Bruce- Gorgeous!! The result is incredible! I know you've been working on this for a while now... Your work and persistence has paid off! And... I must agree. Gen crown and tube makes a huge functional difference- Aesthetics are just a nice bonus Enjoy it... Cheers, R
  14. The only adjustment on the leather straps that I know of is at the clasp. There are a series of springbar holes on the side of the clasp; furthest one at the end is for longer length, and the one that is inset towards the clasp release is for a smaller wrist. Unfortunately, the strap itself does not have adjustment via punched holes like the PAM deployants...
  15. Sounds more like it's the spring in the crown; the stem itself should not be sprung (however, screwdown crowns typically are tension sprung so that they can be pressed against the tube to thread it down). I've had a couple of crowns show up with weak or broken springs. If it's a Poley, I usually just swap to a genuine anyways which fixes the problem.
  16. I've noticed that as well. It could be lighting conditions, or perhaps Photoshop color balancing, etc. I'm not sure. However... I've seen images of both white and silver font dials (standard black) with silvery subsidiaries. Based on the source of those images and watches, I have no question regarding their provenance and authenticity; I believe those to be correct.
  17. Definitely a bit silvery... Must say, that silver dial with brown subsidiaries is quite nice
  18. This is what you want... Asymmetric... The reset pusher at 4:00 is offset a bit lower towards the lugs...
  19. Venus with frozen 6:00 subdial. And, maybe it's just my eyes... But the pushers look symmetric...
  20. For the V23, you can reuse the one from your mystery movement. You might need to slightly broach it though...
  21. Oli bought some of those. The image depicts a genuine set, but what he ended up receiving was a rep crown and tube. Not recommended.
