the white dial/black numeral version is supposed to be platiunum from what I remember and IIRC the serial number that is engraved on the side wasn't correct. watch out for that flaw if you indeed go for that version. i have the white dial with the blue numerals and i love it.

i own that one, and it is technically 40mm when you account for the faux repeater lever sticking out. the strap that it comes on is absolute rubbish and would need to be replaced almost immediately. i don't know if it is an optical effect of the glass, but the dial actually appears to be domed as well. i can't really speak to the accuracy of the watch, but for a hundred bucks you can't really get too wrapped up with that stuff. overall i'd say it is elegant, but anyone that knows what a repeater is will know that it is a fake since the slider is in a fixed position. i forget if this one is supposed to be platinum in gen form, but that would obviously be another tell. the cream dial that you pictured was my choice as well, and i have been quite happy with it to date. it's kind of a beater, but not one of the sporty beaters.

well obviously that question depends on the outfit that you are wearing it with. that red strap looks pretty fierce though - you would get tons of looks with that combo.

Darjeeling Limited was excellent if you're a Wes Anderson fan, Fred Claus was cute for a holiday movie, and American Gangster was probably the best of the bunch with the exception of Russell Crowe's poor rendition of a New York cop. It's too bad that the DVD rip of American Gangster leaked before it came out in the theaters, or else I'm sure it would have made quite a bit more at the box office. Not bad for me, but you know what I mean...

caramel brown with white stitching will suit it well. i have that on a montbrillant rep and it is the cat's meow. always get compliments on that combo. the best part about it is that as it ages, it looks better and better. although I have to admit that the black strap that chubbchubb posted looks great as well.

chr is right - you're going to either spend between 250 and 300 for a nicer one with an asian 7750 or closer to 100-125 for an asian with faux chronos. at least you didn't ask who has the best sub. welcome.
