I have a few of these myself...they are great But if you have big watches (44mm PAMs and above) and big straps...then do not order the 12 watch box..I have this and the lid doesnt close properly....If you have small wrists etc you should be fine but because the 12 watch box is shallower, the watches will not fit properly... Ammo straps or Deployant etc set for large wrists will be a problem so choose the 6 or 8, I have a couple of 6ers and these are fine..no probs at all

Cant agree more Mario's work is fantastic Though Mario does have a better nubuck in terms of the patterning if you are after the JV look.. I did a pictorial comparison a while back with Mario's strap and a gen JV..

Firstly mate Welcome I hope you enjoy your time here...but please have a look at the noob guides etc... There has been a few threads asking this same question and are on this section within last couple of pages...please take the time to search around using the search tool or just scroll through a few pages on here But to answer your question....there are a few out but if you wait there should be an upgraded rep very shortly...indeed you can pre-order if you wish....just go to the dealer section and look for PureTime (Angus) he is having an upgraded version made... Dont bother asking what its like, has anyone got one etc as what you can see on his site is all we can see.. Good luck and hope you find what you are after....

Yes mate but its covered by that hex tube you see in pic so maybe thats why you cant see it... I can calliper it if you want...where do you want the gasket to sit up in the crown..? Or rather are you modding it or is it staying a 005K?

Thats why I said "visually" I am not sure how Angelus movements came into this thread? as they only relate to the 203 and 267 on the 47mm case...but if you are after one be ready to pay 5K for a very in accurate version which will need a lot of modding to meet the OP version Angelus.... for 217 and 127 you would be talking H and E series movements which can be bought around the $1500 mark or the equivilent if you buy a gen to part out.... I considered this myself for my franken 217...but decided to invest in what could be seen on the wrist...So it has gen CG, Gen Crown, Gen dial, Gen Hands, Gen 217 (not 127) Crystal, gen bezel, but for the movement I used an LH Destro movement which for me was good enough and a modded CB... Now thats was a few quid in itself !!! So you wont get what would be considered a great franken for under a $1000 My be a nice EL with some Zig and gen touches but no more than that...

Thats a good spot mate I am not really one for those sort of details myself.... I know A etc has said the picsare of the actual watch but a few dealers have told me in discussion the pics available are the prototypes and not the final production watches...but whether that will affect anything we see in the released pics is another question... No more than we should expected with the inscriptions !! and the depth issue wont be an issue as its easily sorted...the overalll finish of the case will be very interesting .. Overall though I like the idea of having a decent looking destro at last...

Some Old School cartel cases were also visually front loading.... Though you cannot mix and match with them with things like the CB etc

Very clearly see the differences...just underlines how good the EL is but not that good...if you know what I mean.. Bezel shape, Lugs, Boat etc etc I know A is using his own 1950 for the proposed new version...it will be interesting to see if they get it right... just better than EL would be great Great share W If you get the chance next time you are home alone could you take some daylight shots mate...its a great current reference
