Personally I preferred the BB CB to the 05 one but thats just me....its not so flawed as most would call you out...indeed I would be more concerned about the rep 05 CB given its number and circulation in the gen world compared to the BB.. There is an How To on removing the crystal and replacing without a press.....I have used it myself and it works just fine most of the time... Sorry but I cant recall exacly where it is...I think it might be RG TBH

Still on here for me and my VIP membership is not recognised... Any help would be really appreciated

I would rather get one made than try finding one... new tube and stem Or try to source direct from dealers maybe the new 288 crown and tube or buy one and part it out...all comes down to dosh mate

Personaly mate I would remove and resit the crystal as I would want to be sure about the seating of the compression gasket in the bezel..

Hi mate Welcome to a great community I would suggest that although you have mentioned 2 great dealers...their services are different.. BK generally mods the watches he sells so what you get is pretty special from what Josh would offer.. If you like something Josh has then you will find you could get exactly the same cheaper from other trusted dealers on here... I am not saying dont use Josh but there are options that might suit your needs or budget better.. Can I suggest you decide what you are looking for then consider the options...for example say you want a 177L you could buy this direct from Josh or go to Sead/Vac and have a few of the flaws modded before you receive it or you could get the same from someone like Mary for cheaper...etc etc The key thing to remember is what you can buy from Josh can be bought from all the dealers...What you can buy from BK can only be bought from him... Good luck mate and I hope you have a great time here

Benny Hill time....... It really underlines the jump in size...... Nice pics mate, I like the edginess

Totally agree...but most PP scams arent based around non receipt...its on whats delivered thats disputed.... I heard of guys swapping parts from whats sent then claiming its a fake etc etc The key IMHO is proving what you sent not just that you sent it...
-
No matter which way you go there is always a risk.... For high value some guys like the escrow method or better still a BT but then its just as risky for buyers.... so of course the collect and pay is the perfect method... I think with PP as long as you cover all your bases with evidence of the condition, working order, delivery method and relevant proof of dating then you should be OK mate as any claim is subject to PP adjudication.. Also make sure your advert is accurate and fully disclosed with a no return statement etc and you use a proper method of shipping with full insurance etc I remember once I was that concerned on one deal that I video'd without pause the watch, close up the warranty stuff, box etc etc all with a newspaper in view then I wrapped it and addressed it and signed the edges etc ....well you get the idea.. Nothing happened but I am sure it would of helped if the guy ever claimed it was damaged or not as described etc etc With all that said though...just like we say buy the seller not the watch the same goes with the buyer IMHO

Given content so far I have edited my first post.... Hopefully Red can find all the info on posting pics and post some of his collection for us to enjoy

I take it the censored bit means.... LOVE .....Of course you do mate I mean what else could it possibly stand for ?? Yes mate we are getting spolit...if you know what I mean I didnt mean we shouldnt point out the flaws...I mean thats part of why we are here... and when guys have a valid point to make I am the first to welcome it .... Its just sometimes when those points are made you get guys coming out of left field making posts based on the vibe rather than their knowledge...if you know what I mean and I just dont want us to lose sight of the bigger picture in this particular case... Of course we should say what we think of it...just sometimes, and this aint aimed at you mate at all or anyone here, people post flaws like its a competition rather than a constructive input....again i hope that makes sense too PS : Love you too

As much as I enjoy a pick I sent my list direct to Angus in the hope changes might still be made.. I dont like the idea of giving this project a negative vibe given the way in which it came about...this wasnt your typical new rep watch process....Angus got involved on behalf of the members on RG and took the project on.. He has driven this himself.. and I think as much as I like to pull apart reps the other aspect of this process is also what we should comment on....though I guess a few of you guys reading this dont realise this aspect... A dealer has through discussion and advice from members on a forum helped get a model produced that a lot of guys wanted.... I hope I havent come across as putting down the guys here who are expressing the flaws they see, I certainly dont want to do that,... I mean I had a 15 point list not including the movement so I know as well as most this watch is not 100% but it is damn good and will be better when its finished...or as good as it can be given the limitations of the design process in GZ from this particular maker... I just wanted to highlight that here we have a dealer thats taking on projects on our behalf....if you think where we all were last year with the quality of PAMs and where we are now...this project is a further step forward in the bettering of PAM reps for us PAM heads I hope its a sign of things to come From my conversations with Angus I have certainly learnt a lot about how the whole manufacturing process works in GZ etc and its limitations and drivers... I hope this post has come across right...apologies if it hasnt it wasnt meant too

Now that took some reading...but was worth it just for that thing that jumped into the screen shot of the bedroom... Just to clear up my confusion...is DongWong any connection to Jetmid or was he just another billy bullsh itter? and only held up for comparison? I never realised Gio could get so emotive.... or indeed anybody could be as obnoxious in type as these guys....I can see why it sits firmly in the memory of you guys !!

So now you let the cat out the bag.....Prices are going to rocket.....and my plan for caseback world domination has been foiled..... !!
-
I have good news and bad news......The good news is having searched the U Bend I have now found my watch...... the bad news is.. it shrunk !!........but its still ticking Tom..... No matter how it may come across mate...nobody replying here wants to take the mick...sometimes language or interpretation can be misunderstood.... There really aint no need for anyone to get worked up over this..... we are all here to enjoy this hobby....we get enough sh*t in the real world without bringing out here.... And if you want my honest opinion...personally I wouldnt take any rep in the water... unless of course the boat I was in hit an iceberg....then F*ck it!!! I wouldnt care

Congrats mate

Check the How Tos and guide for Noobs mate And welcome
-
Its been common practice in the past for dealers to hide certain brands under other brands...most recently it was Hublots given the way they were seeking out rep sellers it made sense....
-
Angus might of heard something mate but he aint in the loop, so to speak, that project is being led by the cartel...
-
Yeah but you know what they say....." Somewhere out there, theres a PAM with your name on it !! "
