It wears very well great balance and very comfy for big watch, Its a lovely watch overall great presence but on the downside, The lume is awful even for rep standard, the hands are slightly wrong colour like the 253 etc, the inscriptions are wrong colour and markers are slightly off to the gen, bezel teeth are too big and it is suppose to have double AR but I cant see any evidence of it, I think its double secret AR!!!. It is a well built watch though and very nice in its own right. Case is also off. Meant to of been built with the help of PAM experts, all I can say is either the term expert is very loose or the reppers paid no attention to them. As it wouldnt of taken much to move this watch from good to special!!! Shame missed opportunity. Though I do like it. I would of reviewed it but I think others are, so I wouldnt want to tread on their toes. @ST4 Thanks mate, I think!!

Thanks mate There were 2 others on DW modding but maybe they were just posted in a section rather than as a 'How to', not sure. The one I am after involved, as I recall gluing one Dw onto another after having removed teeth first. The other was a font mod using a scanned image again glued to existing DW.

Hi Guys Could some one let me have the link to the mod that involves gluing an additional DW to increase the height to the Date Window. I remember the principle but not the details. I have done a search and had a look in the tuts section but I cant seem to find it. Its not Franciscos mod using the custom ring. Any help would be appreciated Thanks in advance

I have seen them mate so they are out there just not from the TDs but I guess they should be able to source one. I nearly bought one a while ago. I know I saw the 6,7 and 8 not so sure on the PreVs never seen the 301, 302 or 304 repped Actually thinking about I do remember seeing a blue dial with clear bezel which is 304!!

Really comes down to price mate, I would look for lower than previously mentioned. The options are then limitless, Repolish, PVD, DLC, Part out for a franken or several!! etc etc It really does come down to getting the right price. I know when I put my base on, I really wonder why I dont wear it every day!!! Its a very under rated PAM IMHO must go need to put that damn thing on my wrist ;) Withdrawal kicking in!!!

I am awaiting mine which I ordered last week . Hopefully it will be better than the pics on the site! They usually are. But apart from bezel and numerals, it appears in the pics there are also flaws in the Inscriptions on the dial colour and shape, the bezel shape on top, the hands, the shape of the case. It will be interesting to see the double AR on it especially as its a thin crystal, the gen is only 1.6mm. The movement is completely incorrect but is so busy (complicated) looking that it would take more than a cursory glance tospot it. The split dial and the crown also lack it. Hopefully it will be in my hands soon. As said before though, there was only ever 3 prototypes made in 1943 it never went into production. And this latest PAM 300 is on a 99 limited number release barring OORs and extended runs. The likliehood of bumping into someone that would recognise the flaws is unlikely

Hopefully it's 26mm I am sure a few are winging their way round the globe. I must say I can't believe how quickly I have recieved my tracking number! Within 6 hours!!! Pics to follow sooner than I thought!!! :)

Funny reading the specs below the write up it says 'sapphire crystal with AR'. The main thing for me is that the way the xtal reflects blue is exactly like that pic and only in very certain light conditions so I wont get that rep blue paranoia and the rep AR on the watch is doing it's job in terms of looks, ie, it is a passable rep at distance.

As a general rule does the saw tooth rotor bearing designate a high beat whereas the ETA style a low beat or is it only specific to a few of the hublot reps? For example the All black King?

So I have decided to try a few other makes, the first was an AP but that never arrived!!! Another Story I then decided to get a Hublot but I wanted big so I went King the 48mm. Must say now I have my first 2 how very pleased I am and really impressed with the overall quality and look on my wrist. I got both from a couple of great guys here on RWG and it was nice to deal with some straight blokes rather than my last AP experience. I found the Tant to have a fantastic looking AR the best rep AR I have had I must say, I mean pre-modded. The All Black is a nice AR but no where near as good. But having never seen the gen I am not sure what the AR should look like. I have a phobia about strong blue rep AR but I dont know if the gen HUB All Black has a blue AR. So without, at this time, looking to redo the AR. Would it be better to remove the face side AR, remove all the AR or keep it as its pretty accurate? Any advice would be welcomed for this nooby On to my pics
