  1. Mate its the larger set O/S mentioned above, check the link, good luck
  2. So the 217 is ready to come together though I have all the parts as you can see below, I am still looking for 2 more parts to better it. Can anyone please help either by selling or trading me the part or asking other guys who might, for me. Those parts are a Gen CG and a non standard S/N Caseback for an EL case. I would really apppreciate any help or pointers to help complete (for me) this project. Thanks guys
  3. Thanks S I will look at them
  4. Why not have a look at Watchbitz in the dealer forum for all your watch repair/mod needs
  5. I aint arguing just telling you what they said, as I said I thought the same. I know looking at the catalogue I cant see a difference except possibly the lever but that could be for a number of reasons. The finish however does look different but again this could be lighting etc. I think unless someone can post an actual side by side I am not going to side either way. But the anecdotal evidence rather than our opions would suggest a leaning more one way than the other at the moment.
  6. I have spoken to a couple of senior people on Panerai forums and also OP, I have been chatting a lot to someone in Customer services she found an extra extra long JV for me and I have now had a brief reply from her at OP she said that the finish is different (reading between the lines I think both are brushed finish but one is a more polished brush finish) and she also said it had 'slightly different shape'. I have written back asking for a bit more detail giving a story about why I want it. I will update once I have reply. To be honest I always thought the 2 were the same as UR said but just last week some things I was reading suggested this wasnt the case so I have tried to do some more investigation hence why I contacted Richemont and got RRP and Part numbers.
  7. Congrats mate Very nice 88. Sort the AR out please!!
  8. Congratulations mate! Now get some sleep..... you'll need it!
  9. I understood they weren't as OP have different parts numbers for the levers. Its also has a diiferent RRP according to Richemont customer services.
  10. So I guess its worth making the point when ordering if your not so inclined yourself to ask for TB to finish it off and not just to expect it. Would I be right in saying its based on the gen 111 CG or is it the gen 000/005 CG?
  11. Personally I would keep it to inside especially given shape of crystal on watch in terms of possible damage to AR. But for starters just remove DSN blue AR it wil look ten times better. Get a rex fiddy crystal as this has much less distortion than DSN neither are genlike but rexs looks nicer.
  12. I always thought TB finished the CG off before sending out. IE Flush and polished pin and brush finish CG body and correct finish lever. I take it thats not the case then?
  13. Great pics +1 on I cant believe its an iPhone! Its a great looking piece with that movement you should wear it upside down and ask other people when you need to know the time Is that a Rex crystal? I only ask as the distortion isnt like gen or over distortion like DSN etc. or is it the pics? Congrats on its return looks good on the wrist. @kruzer00 - Nice fiddy mate lot of work on that and the cashmere sets it off lovely. Thanks for pics from both of you
  14. Nice pics, Do you hold the camera when you take those or is it fixed?
  15. Yeah I tried it and ended up with this So I rubbed it with a CC cloth and got this
  16. I like the moody lighting mate. Look forward to more pics but looking good! I like the Gruppo Gamma touch
  17. Do you have a video.....I would pay good money to watch that!
  18. S thanks for these films. I have a few myself on my puter. How would I share these on here? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
