I dont know the technical stuff on this coating but I have had a couple of after market PVD PAMs in my hand as well as this same watch. I cant compare the 2 finishes the one we have on this watch is more of a painted finish, to me anyway. I guess its just a cheap version so I would not think you could acheive that same look your after mate if you vintagise it. Yes a DSN dial will fit.

Personally I would rather go for an EL Fiddy or if I couldnt find one go for the DSN 217 Ultimate. I wouldnt bother with Andrew's extra work myself mate. I would rather get it to another watchmaker rather than use a dealer.

The bezel as whole is an easy tell..... Colour of pearl, thickness of bezel markers and numerals as well as the 10. But your right its a damn good rep Also dial inscriprtions and hands. HE is usually the other tell when its on your wrist but cant see that in these pics

Very nice JV mate. Looks nice on watch. Definitely one of my 2 top choices the other being the cashmere version. My problem with them is the lengths. The Xtra large size still doesnt give enough tail that this style or the cashmere deserves. When I do mine up I cant get past the second hole. BB is going to try his magic on making me a cashmere which is longer. So if your reading this mate can you do a JV???

If you bought it OTB from dealers its probably got slight AR. Gen has AR. Hues vary depending on series. So if your after gen like Cheifs may not be the answer for you mate especially if its both sides.
