My kids at school are raising funds for hungry children in other countries. The charity involved can make a nutritious meal for 16p (UK). That watch could give 10,000 children a meal a day for over a year.
What a world we have created.

I see what you mean about the He valve. MBW is damn close, I had mine replaced with the 'plug' option and I think the original MBW actually looks closer to gen
Damn it - I forgot to say Clarks T39 I knew it I knew it! Is that a polexpete DWO by the way?
Here's a shot of my caseback - old school MBW, hope you can see the curve. I believe that is pretty much how the gen should look:
MBW case and insert (need to sort the pearl and He valve out). Caseback looks flatter than MBW so that may be a replacement. Polexpete silver DWO? Gen 703 tall coronet crown. Drilled lugs with 2mm springbars I'm guessing Aussie, Ingod44 rail dial. Just thinking out loud here, could be completely wrong of course. Hands? No idea.
Lovely piece. I remember when I used to work for Nick Urul just off Bond St he used to rave about bubblebacks, they were the vintage Rollie that everyone wanted. He was selling 5513's for about £600 then. Happy days.
Grilling on the deck, wearing that, probably washing the food down with a couple of cold ones. Jeez Louise some people don't know they're born. Very very nice WIIGH my friend
