  1. Happened to me twice, with the same watch, crown was exchanged the first time, but failed again. Finally fixed when Angus swapped the whole case set for me
  2. Yep, as I said, a great watch for a beater, but that's about it. The more expensive Swiss version has the same poor case set as this after all I would be all over a high quality SD rep, there just hasn't been one released yet
  3. I am really confused how nobody else here is seeing how bad the CG's really are? Totally wrong size, shape, angle and legnth! Really, for a base project SD case set, this is not the case to go with, I would wait for the next version that will no doubt be released......
  4. Looking at the other pics closely, the CG's are realy poor, wrong shape and angle, way too stuby and unpronounced, that is a bigger issue to me than the crystal or rehaut. The factory need to revise the case
  5. With the crown guards being so small, any difference will be noticeable, and for me, this is quite a big differnce, unfixable too
  6. Great write up, thanks for taking the time Seems the rep's crown guards are much, much shorter than the gen (see pic). That would not look right to me, same with the crystal/rehaut issue, Still great value though for a daily beater....
  7. If your EL 029 piece has an ETA 2893 movement, don't sell it, in fact the dial is very nice too I think The old school version can be made very nice with a few mods http://www.rwg.cc/topic/120221-old-school-2893-pam029/page__fromsearch__1 All depends on the movement, ETA2893 is same movement as gen, and holds a great deal of value......
  8. These screws worked for me http://apbands.com/shop/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=ROO-SCREWS&Category_Code=BARCAP&Product_Count=2 Others have reported they didn't fit their case......
  9. Pictures would help here, doubt the case is going to let in dust or water, there's a solid metal case under all the other attached parts
  10. Yep, QC pics are not a problem it would seem, he sent me pics of the watch he had to hand and I was happy with it As for the lever, the other DSN pic is a titanium watch, maybe they are slightly different due to that?
  11. Cool, and considering the DSN pieces are about $100+ less than other makers auto PAM's, they are a really great deal
  12. I could not disagree with you more........ Just received this, have it on my OEM strap, looks stunning. If he could flatten the cannon pinion, these would be nearing the quality of the H or Noob Factory watches. Nobody else does the anthracite dial like DSN
  13. The PAM 359, and all the latest model derivatives that were created by Puretime, do not have any AR. I have had quite a few versions pass through my hands, zero with any form of AR whatsoever, it is no surprise you were disappointed!
  14. Puretime just posted a preview of a Royal Oak Offshore Ultimate Grand Prix Carbon watch, with AR on the cyclops http://www.puretimewatch.com/product/royal-oak-offshore-ultimate-grand-prix-carbon-finish-sample-preview/ Interesting looking watch, got to wonder how they made the case, and if they will use the AR'ed cyclops in any other AP watches?
  15. I agree, I think this thread was posted in the correct way, it will hopefully help the OP get his problem solved (main reason for this thread right now), and show the dealer in question he could be named and shamed in an instant in an ongoing forum thread if nothing is done Not everything need be done via PM, and if you can't see the point of a thread, that leaves another question, why post in it?
  16. This thread title needs a question mark!! ? That is all......
  17. Shipping without using the optional extra registered service, you may as well just throw your watches/parts away
  18. Are you using a registered service? If not you are risking every shipment you send going missing. The two times that a member from the US has not used registered post when I requested it, resulted in two lost parcels.... Cheers!
  19. I very much doubt it is titanium, even if it was all the other flaws still make it a poor quality, inaccurate replica
  20. Very nice indeed, looks great, gotta love that gold ceramic case!
  21. You need to edit your topic and thread, you are talking about PURETIME, not precioustime, two totally different dealers Angus should fix this, as the delivery was messed up and the wrong service used, that's their mistake, not yours. Best of luck, contact Angus directly if I were you, seems Nikki is not so nice....
  22. Thanks for taking the pics, nice watch, wonder why they used darker lume on some of the hour markers?
