The Rolex "style" Asian clones are complete rubbish, multiple failures posted across the forums, they fall apart. Not only that, the dealers charge genuine Swiss ETA prices for them too! They must make serious $$$ from selling them.... Buy a true Swiss ETA movement, or the much cheaper and more reliable "unmodified" Asian clone

You made the right choice to buy a rep at the higher end of the scale in terms of quality

It looks very good, thicker that the DSN CG. Yours nearly reaches the bottom of the case back, mine does not come close even.....

Or you could buy one of these for your existing MBW, the movement would drop right in, and the bracelet seems better than MBW's solid link versions

You could buy a MBW and this, then cherry pick all the best parts and put together a sweet looking vintage piece How hard is it to find a low beat ETA movement with flat three date font, and how much would it cost?

The thick rehaut "step" is missing too, MBW vintage Rolex watches have that, as the genuines do, these do not....

I just picked up an OEM rubber strap, thanks very much indeed YankeeFan for a great transaction! Here are some pictures, it is so much better than the DSN rubber strap, no dust! I really like it on the rubber, it lends the watch a totally different look
