Hi Guys, here is an other Frankenproject The case is an older MBW-Case without Lugholes... I installed a gen Tube and Crown on it. The Dial is changed with a better one also the datewheel... For the pics i took a spare bezelinsert but must be installed a gen one The barcelet is a SEL with hollow midlinks.. Ok enough of words,here some pics.. Not finished yet Comments are welcome

Yeah Randy, you are so right.... There is no accurate modern SD out there.....too bad... The older MBW Submariners has great cases,but there are also a lot of flaws... But they are better constructed,i`´ve heard about better materials 440er steel,thick safir,etc.... They are good for Frankenprojects....

The 2846 has same diameter than the 2836-2 but lower beat.... But building a case 1 to 1 is a nice idea.... When it goes,we need a modern SD-Case,thicker than a submariner case with thick bezel...

Yes for the bucks its a nice watch to test some mods...

I have made a comparsion of this one and a MBW 1680... Believe me if you want a good acurate Case you need a MBW...

I use my simple Pentax Optio S5i...... Works good for me and all my Pics i posted where shot with it...

Hi Gang, Yesterday i received my BCE from Angus... I must say,this is fantastic accurate watch compared to the gen one.... The graphite Dial is fantastic,the AR coating on both side of the safir Glass is damm great... Case,bracelet,bezel,pearl is 1 to 1 to the gen one... I took the Asia Valjoux one and it works great... Ok enough of words her we go...... The watch The Dial Bezel Bracelet/Clasp I Think its a beauty,thanks Angus
