  1. LOL, no worries. I'll try to snap a few photos in the next day or two.
  2. I vote a 5512 or 5513, plain and simple classic! Vintage subs are a great investment. I can tell you my gen Tudor 7016 purchased ~5 years ago was about $1500 and now are rarely seen for less than $2500-3000 -that's a conservative range too. My gens: \
  3. My gen Transitional 16750 circa 1979 On a Bund shell cordovan strap -one of the most comfortable straps I own....
  4. RA, great post, thanks for taking the time to put this together.
  5. Congrats, the GMT is a classic.
  6. Geez, sorry to hear this K, I hope your daughter is okay. Take care!
  7. Nice Strider and Snowflake! Along those lines, Milsub Friday for me...
  8. Thanks for the correction Ronin, gotta love the knowledge at RWG!
  9. Sometimes a better value is to get an entire Datejust watch, you can find them sometimes $1000-$1400 and use the movement. This way you can always resell an entire watch as well. Just my $.02
  10. I think the 62xx Daytona's are an elegant size and the silver dial is still my favorite. Congrats and wear it well!
  11. Akira, Thanks for the kind words! It's a gen 16750 (transitional matte dial) circa 1979.
  12. Thanks B! I've got a gen 1675 dial with some brown tropical spots on it that would be nice in a build, ping me if you're interested.
  13. Agree, they're great. The Modena is the strap same I have on my 1665 in the pix above. Also no rubber stinkiness of the vintage Tropic straps -I love the look of them but a lot of them you smell before you enter the room....
  14. A rally strap is always a good option... Below is one on my MC, although this strap is 20mm -I've mounted it on a 19mm case. There are probably 19mm out there if you look hard.
  15. Nice project and looking good so far! I've always fancied a rootbeer two-tone GMT myself.
