How much is the gen version ffs!?

Same here, would be great to see a few more details about how this turned out.

Not sure about your particular example, but I've seen some dealers charging truly astronomic amounts for what are claimed to be 'solid gold' cases. If someone has found a Gen movement, Gen dial, Gen Hands etc, I could see it running up to a grand. Some reps are reaching 1-1.5k in the sales thread here...but 7k? Hmmmmm...

It's not bad, a simple little app with pics of the latest models, a cool feature is a screen-sized running clock that can just sit on your desk. Pretty neat.

Ooops, I thought they were all about the 5-600 dollar mark, didn't realize this was so expensive. Makes sense that they would rep them. Hopefully someone on the forum who knows more will chime in. Good luck mate

I've seen these on a couple of replica sites, the thing is, the real ones are only double the price, so if these are replicas, they're definitely not worth the money. A nice second-hand example would be about this price. Some of the watches are not typical chrono layouts, so these would take a lot of effort for the rep makers to produce. Interesting to find out what the deal is.

What material is this dial made out of? And is that an angled day/date at 4:00? Nice!

What about a solid blocks of this RTM material, then machining the watch case from it? The part that is shown in the images still needs some finishing, I assume. What about a solid rectangular piece, then you machine the case in a 5-axis CNC. That would be far more doable. The only question is durability during construction, metals are predictable under Tungsten Carbide tools, not sure if this CF/epoxy mix is too brittle to be machined... Other than that, this project is crazy, you're all nuts! P.S. I's DEFINITELY be up for one, pending surface quality )

On the first video, about 1.30 he hoes around a corner and feels he's about to lose it, so he overcorrects and boots it full of gas, you can tell he poos his pants for about 0.01 seconds ;o) Amazing, incredible driving. No superlatives are useful to describe it ;o)

eBay, type in "22/20 breitling strap". From there you'll see what you need. Remember, there's an almost linear relationship between dollars spent and quality. Expensive genuine crocodile straps are not $100+ for nothing. Good luck!

Visually, this seems fine. The questions to ask of the movement are: - do the chronos reset exactly to 12? - is the power reserve good (40+ hrs)

Fantastic franken, probably one of the best around, the only issue is the datewheel is slightly offset from the datewheel hole. Note sure if the single digits are towards the left side on the gens, I recall this having to do with the A7750 movement, the datewheel position is a little off through a gen dial. Otherwise, the slide rule is perfect, it really looks magnificent Great job!
