  1. I bet most people if they are being reeeeeallly honest, wear 4 or 5 watches most of the time -- regardless of how many they own. A thread like this might get you to dust off a few of the oldies or less-favorables, but I bet most have their go-tos and they pretty much stick to 'em! Go ahead and ban me!
  2. I believe the gen also has "Swiss Made" at the 6 O'clock position. This one does not...
  3. Strap looks great, brown. Makes you wonder why they took so long to rep this. I have two of the 24mm straps shaved to fit my wolf and my skyland. That just looks the way it should...
  4. Could not agree with you more about the black strap -- sets off the black on the dial perfectly! Nice pick up, brotha!
  5. ap -- How much do you love your watch? If the answer is "A lot!" then you should send it to Francisco to get repaired. These movements are tricky and I have two of them. When I bought the watches, I mentally added $150-$200 to my price, knowing I would have to get them serviced. They are great reps and still a bargain at 1/30th or so the price of the gen. Sounds to me like you want the watch, so send it to Francisco -- you won't be sorry...
  6. Good for you, Dani -- that one was up for sale decades too long, bro...
  7. Man, that's just mean man -- That's just mean! Dani, did you ever sell your RG Rubberclad? It's still the best one I've ever seen...
  8. Man - I hope I never get scammed on RWG -- if this is the response from the membership and staff!
  9. Don -- I think that is the standard rep lume -- no one did mine and it glows just like that! Pretty nice, huh?
  10. I just got the black dial Rubberclad P, and now you're in my head with that strap! Stop!
  11. J -- It's one tick off, if you look close you can tell. However, one of the common flaws if you can call it that is that 100 on the chapter ring is almost always just a bit off. Awesome rep, regardless -- probably or close to my favorite...
  12. I stinkin' love that watch, Bro! So close to gen and so reasonably priced. One of the best Breit reps period.
  13. D -- If you love something let it go. If it comes back to you (or you just want another one!) do it.
  14. Madred is right! I almost bought this MBW from Jakob a while back -- a great deal on a great watch.
  15. Hack -- When I was in New York a few months ago, I did the Canal Street thing. The only piece I even considered buying was the Black Themes quartz on steel. I could not believe how close it felt to the rep seconds @ 12 Navy Themes I own. These really are amazing for the price! Nice pick ups -- both!
  16. In my opinion, the Yellow Wolf looks best on a black strap of your choice. Something about the black of the dial numbers sets off better with a black strap. Stainless just doesn't do the this model justice...
  17. Good advice! You know what else just happened to me? I switched the bracelet for a strap on my Seawolf. Two seconds later, the thing popped off my wrist and luckily ( I don't know how!) I caught it before it hit the ground! Check and make sure your pins are actually in the holes if you switch out bracelets -- especially on the Breits. They can be a bit of a bear!
  18. I for one would love about a hundred more pix of that one, hockey! Come one, man!
  19. Likin' that watch, bro! Real blingy on the bracelet. Enjoy!
  20. Very impressive showing from some of the established members, huh James? Nice fellas.
  21. querty -- Yeah, don't use the cloth on brushed -- only the polished.
  22. How's this for an answer, R -- Whenever, and I mean whenever you tire of the Rose Rubberclad -- you got a buyer!
  23. Guys -- I have the gray version with the so called "incorrect date font." Literally, the only way anyone would know is if they are a rep wolf expert, or they had the gen in their hand. This is one of the best out of the box reps in existance -- not only aesthetically, but because of the gen Swiss movement. You can count on your hands how many reps actually have a gen ETA inside. The thing just feels gen -- and I know, a buddy of mine has the gen in black and I stared at them both, side by side for an hour! Holds up really well.
