  1. Please do not re-quote an entire set of pics just to add a line or 2 at the bottom.
  2. The thickness of 'gold' flashing/plating (or whatever term you prefer) on any given rep watch is dependent entirely on the intentions of the person who flashed that watch. There is little consistency & no real QC in the contraband world, so trying to define standards is an act of lunacy.
  3. No out-of-the-box replica watch is an exact match for its gen counterpart (if you are new, you should have read this). Mods generally include reshaping inaccuracies of the case, replacing rep parts with genuine parts (typically, crystals, crown/tubes, pushers (on chronographs), handsets & in more advanced cases, movements, cases or dials) or customizing to the owner's preference. In addition to the cost of the parts, most charge for the labor required.
  4. A search for '6536' & my handle resulted in many relevant links, including this & this.
  5. Pretty incredible, especially considering what you got from the best phones just a few years ago.
  6. On the main page, go to the Watches, Clothing & Accessories section.
  7. The patina makes this watch
  8. Still & again
  9. (Clean) Rodico.
  10. Wore my Bond Sub today
  11. (Clean) Rodico (available from watch supply houses) removes fingerprints & most other non-permanent marks without leaving residue.
  12. Or the jewels need cleaning. Either way, time for service.
  13. Wearing 1 of my Newmans today, but, with Faber's pic (above), I could not resist posting this oldie
  14. Search the sellers listed in the Watches forums (accessible on the front page), all of which are generally safe to do business with.
  15. Generally (prior to having purchased any gen parts), I would have said exactly the same thing. However, since omgiv has already acquired the gen handset & dial, it makes more sense to fit them to a gen movement than to modify them to fit an ETA.
  16. Ditto.
  17. What is a 'TD'? This is the current/standard, wide-body modern Daytona (not the low-profile case indicated in my article). Refer to my pic of the CGs, which identifies the low-profile case (which also has a flatter bezel).
  18. I believe The Scream sold yesterday for a record-breaking $107M. That is alot of paint.
  19. Would you price the Mona Lisa by the cost of canvas & paint? Get with the program, Nanuq.
  20. 1570 Minute hand 80 Hour hand 130 Seconds hand 20
  21. I hate to say it, but the GMT hand in your watch does not look gen. Nanuq - MY has 6542/1675 handsets (steel, gilt or black) to fit gen movements (click pic for link)
  22. You are welcome to try, but I am not aware of anyone who has been successful in fitting a Rolex GMT handset to ETA (if they do fit, then the hands are not gen).
