  1. How about this one: "Jutdlime pivdluarit ukiortame pivdluaritlo" (Inupiat Eskimo)
  2. Ken, God Jul fra din venn i Alaska!
  3. God Jul from the frozen north! Get ready boys, Santa is on his way!
  4. Yeah both kids came to the ER and watched them clean and stitch it, they got pretty green but they agree this is one for the books. At least my fingers were mostly numb when I did it! Darn this is really gonna mess up my wood splitting. Where's my Chain saw!!
  5. I've got some great "stitches" pics too, pretty gross tho...
  6. Don't stick your finger in the spinning disc brake rotor and cut the bone off. Owwwwwwwwww! More tomorrow.
  7. There are some staggering collections out there. Here are some photos that represent tiny fractions of these guys' overall collections: There's a million dollars there. Check the JCK. All the "Marks" of the DRSD in one place. All the gorgeous COMEX divers in one place. And now for THE collection, here are photos of what Mike Wood has put together. And finally...
  8. Wow that was a mouthful. Welcome aboard! On a slightly different tangent: Can anyone prove this Universe and all its intellectual and physical content was not created 5 minutes ago? Ready... set... GO!
  9. Fraggle, yes that for an entire winter season. Yikes!
  10. Yes, the Boss and TT (and I) are all pretty swamped this Christmastime. Go ahead and send me the PM, but don't expect the vetting for High Value Sales to be expedited. We've already got a few in the works and we have day jobs too.
  11. Santa is a great neighbor! But I've got one complaint... his fricken reindeer keep getting out and eating my trees. I got up this morning and sure enough there were new tracks out in front of the house. But then I looked a little closer. Hmmm, these aren't reindeer tracks, they're way too big and deep for a lynx ... I must have had another wolf come through this morning.
  12. Opportunity knocks my friend. If this sweet young thing is commenting on the cold, cold snow, you have an obvious opening to offer her a date to warm her up. *cough*
  13. Check out the Orsa Monstrum. Gnarly dive watch!
  14. Darn! No wonder my supercollider is making lasagna instead of Higgs Bosons.
  15. Pffffffffffffftttttt that ain't nuttin, honey. If I went full gonzo nerd I'd post something like this: ............and then describe it.
  16. Here's a cross section of a 701 combo, they're nearly identical to the 702. You can see an o-ring that fits snug around the center post. When you screw it down that forces the o-ring into a cutaway in the end of the tube for the seal. It also shows the 2 o-rings inside the tube.
  17. There are dozens of vintage divers out there that I'd love to have. And they're all very inexpensive. Eterna Kon-Tiki Zodiac Sea Wolf Certina DS-2 PH200M Jenny Caribbean Squale Master 100m Cyma Divingstar 1500 Longines Legend Compressor Blancpain 1000m Barakuda Fortis Marinemaster Super Compressor Doxa SUB 300 .....and on and on and on..........
  18. Nightmare! Not even close, it was a party! Snowmachines blasting up and down the road, huge piles of it everywhere, XC skiing down the streets, cars literally being lost until the spring thaw.... it was great! And man was it wet in the spring when it melted. Here's another pretty snowy winter. We'd get dumps like this overnight. That's a snowmachine trailer with 2 sleds on it. This is in spring on Spencer glacier when a lot of it had melted. (you can see why they had to take the wires off)
  19. Hey Mike ... give me a visit and bring a shovel. We're not getting much this winter but a couple years ago we set a local snowfall record. 93 FEET of snow.
  20. 12 inches of snow? That's great! Hey, why can't a nose be 12 inches long? A: because then it would be a foot.
