hmm im sorry but 904L is a an ISO standard and the variation in quality is nearly non existent. it is the composition that makes this a 904 alloy. it is highly resistant to corrosion hence why it was made. I use it in highly acidic environments in oil production. it was designed to be used with very strong acids. The 904 on reps has been tested and does fall into the specs of being called a 904L alloy, but people seem to think that it is a super alloy and it doesn't scratch etc.. its not its actually nearly identical to 316L but has different corrosion properties. People get all bent saying "its brighter" etc and that's horseshit. its not. the whiteness or brightness in the metal has to do with how it is brushed and catches light. my recent noob Daytona is 316 and it looks exactly the same as all of my gen Rolexes. Id like to know where you got your information on 904L because its very incorrect. if what they are usisng is actually 904L then like I said it will have the same scratch and dent resistance as 316 but it will be highly corrosion resistant to acids from your skin and just about anything you will throw at it.. 904L on a watch is mearly a marketing thing as 316L is perfect for watch material and like will outlast you. The reason rolex changed was to solve the pitting issues they had in the caseback around the seal area you seen in a lot of old subs that were worn in salt water and not rinsed off, over time this will pit 316L but a very long time. most of Rolexes reason was because it was exotic, hard to work with and no one else was using it.

I have a 112 that Marlin built for me. It’s pretty much the best you will get without going with a Gen. i love the watch but I’ve hardly worn it.

Hey fellas ! just got this Noob 4130 and tossed a Gen dial and stuff into it, loving the watch but I found a bezel in my watch box that was a little bolder font than the Noob 116520 and the placing of dots and numbers were a little better to Gen than the noob, but I have no idea where I got it lol Any ideas ?

the cornet on the V6S was great, I compared mine to my gens and its pretty close if not spot on to the eye.. they can do it they are just lazy at times and it also keeps the diehards picking at things to give them an update to sell more watches lol well that's my 2cents. They have in the past and im sure they will in the future make a good one but on the wrong bracelet lol its actually clever when you think about it.

I’m sorry to hear Ken, it’s never and easy thing to deal with losing someone close you to. I won’t try to say things to try to make it easier as there is no easy way to deal with it. Open it up, take out the stem and remove the movement/dial and just slightly press the second hand in or if it tips up slightly bend it down close to the minute hand tip. Reassemble it all and bob is your uncle :P

Awesome fellas ! thanks ! yea I know the rep tags are pretty damn good from the last time I had seen them, so that's why I was wondering on the quality of the newer bracelets. I checked with my Tag dealer and they want like $900 for the genuine one and that's a bit insane for that watch, it is a $6500 watch but its still a tag with the same bracelets as the $3k and $4K carreras, so I cant see 1/3 or 1/4 the cost being the bracelet lol Ill have to check with some of the dealers and get one ordered. Hey fellas, I have a Gen Carrera Caliber 36 flyback on a croc strap that it came with, I was wondering what the rep SS bracelets are like in quality ? this one is a 43mm with a 22mm wide lug, what are some of the models with a 22mm lug that would fit this one. They actually had a bracelet available for this but my colleague who I got it from didn't buy it when he picked up two of these a few years back. thanks in advance for your input !
