My latest, the 01 (A).

The crown position is on the wrist not as present as on the pictures but you are right, I need to address this fault. Just finished the hands. Can't tell you enough how vintage this 01 looks, just awesome. And thank god I have this crystal, although no AR it is not present at most of the time, just great. It is very hard to capture the color of dial and hands. Here is a second attempt. Thanks for your positive comments, keep them coming.

Very good lume it seems. Makes it more attractive to me. Wear it in good health.

The last three pictures are of gen watches, just to compare. The biggest flaw mine has are that the hands are too white. but as I type this they are already relumed and drying Will update this threat when done with the relumed hands.

This is my latest build. I was more or less by coincidence. I had a 002 Pre-A with DSN dial I did not like and had (from a trade) this unknown 01 dial. After some research I found out that this dial would be a perfect match for a 01A series watch. I just happened that today my ST36 movement arrived from Tat and I had no plans for it yet. And.. some Pre-V hands from Helenarous. So the build exists from the folowing parts (s far as I know them): - DSN Pre-A case - Best crystal I have ever seen on a rep (unkknown source) - This fantastic dial, made fro one peace of brass - Helenarous Pre-V hands set - Crown: unkknown, nice and thick - CG: probably DSN allthough it is very thick and nicely polished and correct for a Pre-A case - Movement: ST36 Hi-beat. - Case back: DSN Pre-A (the well known 0099) Well here are some pictures, let me know what you think about it! We share one concern, how does a lefty look on a left arm. I bought the 26K and I did not like it at all. End up buying and modding a Pre-A 009 from DSN with FGD dial and hands. The 360 will come soon. These are all Base models, so without a second hand.

You need to open the case back. Next to the stem, stem is attached to the crown, there is a little screw. It could be that it came loose a bit.

It is low beat, I've just checked for you. Don't know if it is H-factory quality, it runs at -2.0 secs a day. Not bad imo.

Well, I got the DSN 009 secondhand from the sales corner. As soon I find a way to pay DSN I will certainly buy some parts from him and one of the parts will be this case. I have a 202 FGD dial on the way to me and will use it for that. I must admit you have good taste with watches

Here, this is what I did with the DSN 009 after I got it today: Transformed the FGD dial and hands from my 002 in to it. And..... transformed the DSN 009 dial and hands into the 002 case: Why would you ask.... well I also have a 201/A and I'm not planning to keep the 002.

I've read somewhere that DSN hands match very well in color and lume. Would not hurt to have them by hand in case you need them.

I think you will get the same movement from either one of those two dealer. Removing the hands without damage is the most difficult part in swapping the movements. You need the right tools to do this. putting them back on is not that hard. There are a couple of tutorials about this you can search for. Good luck.

Makes sense then. I hope I will get my DSN 009 tomorrow. Don't know if I will change out the DSN dial, how did you find the quality of it? Very nice 4 liner.

I like it a lot. Looks very nice. Looks like the case and CG is more Pre-A than Pre-V though. Would make a good Pre-A 009 with FGD dial and hands.
