@ Manuel
I was looking for the part number for you and realized the tube is not after market after all! (24.7030.0 btw, the pics were taken a little while ago)
Here it is in its container
@ kruzer
Thanks, there is a better "feel" to them for sure.
@ Tribal
I remember that thread thanks, looks like the same sub too, the red with the silver date wheel.
I was going through some of my watch pics today and found some I had taken while I had my 1680 apart. I thought some people may find it interesting with the group buy etc. Just really showing the different bezel assemblies and gaskets.
MBW tube Vs a aftermarket one.
Inserts
Crystals
Finished product
You should be able to get them for under a grand, I bought the blue one from a AD a few years ago for $950AUD (on bracelet but I also ordered the strap) and the black one I picked up in a trade on the board.
Very solid watches at 44mm, I love em!
If its not the same hight its very similar and as Rou has already said alot of the parts are interchangeable, but the quality of the finish and material is lower than the ETA.
Quickest tell for those that may not know is the regulator is riveted on the st-18, some reps (omega ATs) even have ETA 2892 stamped on the main plate but they have a riveted regulator
Thanks, thats what I wanted to know, the other bracelet was from the very first run and wont fit but it was when the dealer said he wasn't sure if the newer bracelets would fit on the 2893 case so I thought I better check before ordering.
