  1. Wow... they are really good, you could probably do some as after market for TZ!
  2. You can put me down for one, thanks for the effort.
  3. Was it this one? horlogerie-suisse
  4. Ingy... Nice one Baltic I know how much you were after a speedy 2005SUBMARINER sounds like your on the edge of a very slippery slope!
  5. None of my presses work with how the high the tropic crystals are, so I found a short piece of high density plumbing pipe at a hardware that is the same diameter as the retaining ring. It cost a couple of dollars will not leave any marks and after a year or so still going like a little trooper!
  6. All the Omegas would fit the bill but just to throw another sports model out there the Ing is pretty good also. Ubi I have recently found myself starting to like the unique styling of the Nauti....... and cant for the life of me understand why.
  7. @ lionsandtigers and hookoo, thanks fellas. @swdivad, WOW.... I have been waiting to see that since you started it how ever long ago.... definitely worth the wait
  8. 1665....
  9. I have a st-18 and a 2892 and there is a few more differences than just the mainspring being reversed, the easiest to see is the regulator is riveted on the st-18. There are some pics in a thread Here
  10. This thread may help to explain Click here
  11. Yea the strap is a seamaster one with the fat tongue on the buckle. The watch itself has two digital time zones and a third with the hands, chrono, coundown timer and a couple of alarms. About 12 months ago I fortunate enough to have a month in asia, mainly Vietnam and found this in a rep shop in Hanoi. Most of stuff they had was the usual cheaper chinese stuff but but had a good selection of rollies, breits, omegas etc.... kinda regret not getting one of the grahams looking back now. If you ever get a chance to go to Vietnam, take it as it is an amazing country.
  12. Pvd on a gabo strap Still thinking of changing it to a 111 or base sandwich dial with some SL
  13. I know this is not the worlds most accurate rep, I am aware of its faults and that the gen is very unpopular, also its...... quartz But for 15 bucks I think it was pretty good value... I mean thats only a round at the pub!
  14. Thats just wrong..... sorry to hear about it, I hate seeing trades on the board go this way.
  15. Good old Bondy for me....
  16. 183 on a hktan strap
  17. or
  18. Great review By-tor, As for the watch, its great value at 100 bucks... hell its cheaper than a vintage insert!
  19. Probably changing between these two
  20. Here is a quick pic of mine The pin has a notch in the middle that holds it in, as you press the button it will be released. You can see on the link the button that needs to be depressed, you then push the pin from the side. The tool will not push it all the way through, so I pull it the rest of the way out with my fingers (while button is still down). Thats pretty much it, I have to say it is quite a good system, better than the omega and rollies set ups.
  21. I have the little tools and they worked no worries. You use one to push the button on the underside of the links (look like little circles) then while that one is depressed use the other tool to push the pin from the side, It will slide straight out. The ING's rock!
  22. Thanks Ubi, I did not really plan on posting it as a how to it was just a pm guide to KKS as he was determined to do it himself and it was better than him going in blind, if it helped anyone else its a bonus. I would not recommend everyone to try it if you do put the set lever out, the parts are small and hand removal and replacement can be difficult at first but it is a common problem..... just use the right size screw driver!
