Yep I agree that the 4th gen is a great piece in its own right, I plan on changing it to rubber also..... as soon as the bugga's make a strap that will fit!

  8. Hope you can knock it on the head, all the best for the new year.
  9. Nup.... if you are just trying to nudge the set lever back into place then no. The pics are of two different movements... was being a little lazy when taking the pics

  11. Here is a thread which discusses how to let down the main spring on an ETA. Click Me
  12. Swapping between these two...
  13. The 45mm ultimate has a metal spacer where as the 42mm has a plastic one, other improvements are the pearl, crown and tube, bracelet endlinks, clasp and the tip of the seconds hand has a closer colour to gen. Both are very good but the 45mm is better.
  14. My only white dial... Not that I have worn it since this big bugga turned up!

    Black 45mm Po

Thanks guys Over the weekend I noticed my marker at 1 o'clock had lifted, so while it was apart I snapped a few pics. A big improvement on the 45 is the movement holder, the 42 has a plastic one. Internal threads on the tube. The He valve has no gaskets... I tried some from a rollie tubes but they were all slightly to thick... perhaps Ken was right?..... Naaa!
  16. Here is some pics to show the difference between them. some say they get the powder from decommissioned soviet subs!
  17. Nice Narikaa, I would also like to see more angles of those. A couple more

Hey MVB, its the latest incarnation from josh but not sure which generation that makes it. The pearl is very good as is the crown and tube which has internal threading and does not feel like its going to strip the threads as some reps do. Bytor you will love this one, its a keeper for sure! Chrgod, its not been tested..... but the dial does say 600m
  19. Don't use WD40! Nice choice though, love looking at the display back!
  20. I had taken some pics of my 1665 a while ago while pouring water on it and liked the results.... anyhoo heres some similar shots of the PO. I will add some dry ones later
  21. You can get it here RC Tritec Cant remember how much it is but I could only pay by international bank transfer.... which was a pain... but its worth it
  22. Still cant take this off...
  23. The 45mm PO is also very nice... and very accurate.
  24. I have to say that after it stripped a tube I realized I would need to order a tap for it..... I did feel like sending it the way of the French aristocracy
