Yep I agree that the 4th gen is a great piece in its own right, I plan on changing it to rubber also..... as soon as the bugga's make a strap that will fit!
No worries at all, bring em on! Great shots BTW
This is a must have if your an omega fan, probably best out of the box at the moment.... leaves the 42mm a long way behind (pearl, bracelet clasp, internal threads on the tube etc)
Some more...
Nup.... if you are just trying to nudge the set lever back into place then no. The pics are of two different movements... was being a little lazy when taking the pics
The 45mm ultimate has a metal spacer where as the 42mm has a plastic one, other improvements are the pearl, crown and tube, bracelet endlinks, clasp and the tip of the seconds hand has a closer colour to gen.
Both are very good but the 45mm is better.
Thanks guys
Over the weekend I noticed my marker at 1 o'clock had lifted, so while it was apart I snapped a few pics.
A big improvement on the 45 is the movement holder, the 42 has a plastic one.
Internal threads on the tube.
The He valve has no gaskets... I tried some from a rollie tubes but they were all slightly to thick...
perhaps Ken was right?.....
Naaa!
Hey MVB, its the latest incarnation from josh but not sure which generation that makes it. The pearl is very good as is the crown and tube which has internal threading and does not feel like its going to strip the threads as some reps do.
Bytor you will love this one, its a keeper for sure!
Chrgod, its not been tested..... but the dial does say 600m
I had taken some pics of my 1665 a while ago while pouring water on it and liked the results.... anyhoo heres some similar shots of the PO.
I will add some dry ones later
You can get it here RC Tritec
Cant remember how much it is but I could only pay by international bank transfer.... which was a pain... but its worth it
I have to say that after it stripped a tube I realized I would need to order a tap for it..... I did feel like sending it the way of the French aristocracy
