If I recall correctly I paid $575 for mine on eBay in new condition Was pre owned but not worn Even in beat up condition I would not expect to see less than 300 No buckle included of course The link you sent has a fair amount of wear but still in very good condition The selling price of 399 seems about accurate though no bargain The gen shows some wear quickly and darkens in color

Angus and Toro seem to have the closest relationship with the Noob factory but most all dealers should be able to get their watches Angus' wait lists have gotten bad on some noob watches because of the volume of customers he gets on noob watches compared to some other dealers so that can be a negative

Joshua and Andrew have been bashing the noob factory for multiple months It is borderline pathetic if all of their recent stories prove to be completely untrue I for one will never use either again! Angus and Toro are still getting new watches and sending qc pics on noob watches so while their production has slowed and many watches are back ordered it does not seem at all they they are closed Angus states all in fine with the noob factory so someone is not telling the truth and us members should not use whichever dealer or dealer in the end we find to be lying If it is angus lying many members with prepaid watches are going to cause serious problems in repdom

I have the gen and owned all variations of the rep Managed to treat the rep strap with olfhausen leather conditioner and it darkened the strap to an exact match of the gen color wise Only difference is the threads Best rep version is the kurvasit old one but the stitching is not great quality

That watch is tough to find in stock though You may have to prepay and join a waiting list to get it right now Toro or angus at PureTime would both be fine options

All 3 are finished extremely well Brushed finish, overall construction feels genuine on all 3 AP diver i think is my favorite but find the 243 very close and more fun to mix and match looks with different straps The ap is a pita to change straps with any regularity Need to get the ap relumed then it will definitely be my favorite of the 3 243 needs nothing out of the box I appreciate the jlc and love the dual detail but overall not in love with the watch

I think higher prices unfortunately are going to be passed along in the very near future If nothing else this crackdown is costing the dealers and factories money More watches are being seized, there is pressure on the various supplier factories to not supply rep parts, assemblers are working odd hours, more police/political heat, etc... All of the above problems require more money The dial or movement supplier is going to charge the rep factory more to sell them parts because of the risk they are taking, higher percentage of seizures must be amortized in, police and politicians must be bribed more money than before to stay quiet and maybe even the employees are demanding more money to work for an illegal business and at night instead of day When factories costs increase for any reason the product they produce increases in price to the consumer

They really do look quite different and are both well replicated so I would go with the look you prefer Personally I prefer the 288 Owned one and sold it but it was a great rep

Thought the beginning was great, ending was great, middle fell flat Agree that the entire hour plus in the middle dedicated to the hospital for children was out of place and not entertaining to me The whole love story whatever I also really disliked but that of course is what they tied a great mix of famous music to so I will give that a pass but think it would have been even better without the storyline behind it Btw: anyone watch on us Tv where the horrible female announcer actually starting singing along and over the musical performance at one time That was totally unprofessional and embarrassing

Glad you found this forum. Consider that the price to pay for not finding this site earlier and from now stick with the forum trusted dealers and you will get better pricing, better service and honest resolutions if you do have a problem upon delivery.

I decided to edit this, becuase I looked at the watch for sale and that watch has been modded a good amount over a base EL Fiddy so my comparison is really not valid. But do agree with the above comment, that to have the best version. Buy an EL and a Noob and combine parts!

As stated before customs is a total crapshoot Without ever opening a box it can sit in customs for 10 seconds or 6 weeks and anytime in between Fact is this hobby is helped that customs is such a mess You could use FedEx and Ups to ship reps internationally and that would be quicker but the reason that is not done is since they handle their own customs and check contents more often, the chance of a problem is much higher Slow and safe is good for us Now if shipping legal materials for work That you are paying proper duties and taxed on ; then of course use FedEx, ups, DHL, etc

I think they would have been better off just making the old ym a larger size instead of the redesign that I find ugly

EMS also is delivered 7 days a week And to most areas before noon Nothing like getting a package delivered Sunday morning! Registered air mail is delivered with your mail at regular time

I agree with duke Sorry you had bad luck but those were due to customs issues, holds or processing and not indicative of the speed of the USPS when it comes to handling ems shipments Customs is always a crap shoot
