1. Sorry to hear about your 2 bad experiences If it makes you feel better I can assure you that is was in fact just bad luck The ap diver is a great rep and reliable but no rep should be considered safe for swimming
2. Love the collection and a big fan of golden hands as well but can't seem to make the 47's work I am a big guy and have good sized wrists but find anything over 45mm too big
3. Good luck waiting for that h factory v4, lol Seems a better chance of you winning the lottery and buying the gen Noob factory update will probably happen at some point but that is not what you or Andrew are referring to
4. Thanks, Jlc pearl is unmodded, I think they got better after the initial stocks were sold off Under close inspection I think there is still room for improvement with the pearl AP is the v3 currently at the spa for multiple tweaks look forward to sharing pics post make over
5. Vac is in the us (FL) and is one of the best and has been around a long time
6. My oem asso also has held up extremely well and has nice patina However I do have a big spot of discoloration where my buckle rubs when strapping on the watch I am using a rep tang pre-v buckle I think the same one u are showing (brushed) but you don't have the discoloration Maybe I am wearing it too right or maybe I need to sand my buckle edges? Stitching though as you say is perfect and the more it is worn the more it matches patina lume like on the 390
7. Definitely a great guy! Was kind enough to answer questions I had via pm a while back with a very friendly attitude and of course tons of knowledge.
8. Oh yeah, forgot about 326 that one is probably the most accurate along with the 288 Like wolf said Then after that the other daylights with 7753
9. This watch is made for vintage leather Don't have a link handy right now but Google Wrist watch photo blog 243 straps Guy that runs that blog Martin is an unbelievable photographer and took photos of his 243 (t dial) on 23 different strap choices Worth looking at to see what type of strap you like most for this watch I currently switch mine from a Simona allegreni diver, Simona museum tobacco and a Greg Stevens crazy horse 1. (all are vintage straps)
10. Fantastic job on the pin Also have this rep and love it! mja: if you want a competing noob factory watch u need a different dealer By competing I mean that the same model is made by both h and noob factories which the 243 is
11. Can't get v2 anymore so question of money is irreverent V2 had updates periodically released so there is a very blurry line between v2 and v3 At some point after first v2 and current v3 appeared the following was changed 1.). Pre V hands These are also on many but not all v2s 2.). Engraved not etched serial # These are also on many buy not all v2s 3.) tiny roller ball visible on inside of crown guard lever It is very rare to see this on a v2 but I have seen a couple So the real answer seems to be nothing or could be all 3 depending how old the v2 was Maybe there is something else but I haven't heard or seen it yet
12. Great strap

Not important but why do you say luckily buckle is screw in
13. Give it a couple more weeks before panicking US postal system is slow Canada postal system is slower
14. That is the most famous clock tower in Switzerland, the most famous place for clocks Been there once myself but also have seen it in numerous travel books and shows
15. Most watch or clock repair shops are ok with reps
Jewelry stores that sell brand names I would assume are not ok with reps

That said not all watch and clock repair guys are good enough watchsmiths to trust to fiddle with your watches
It is kind of a dying field and most are changing batteries and otherwise not doing much else on watches
16. Yup but not even chinese stuff Had a bracelet from England in NYC from Sept 2 Just got out on Sunday and was delivered to me today Box is not opened yet it sat in by probably due to some kind of backlog for 2 full weeks Have a couple of other straps in transit to me 1 from Canada and one from Europe neither with tracking and those are taking longer than usual as well but I an not worried about it
17. I personally don't think ap bands straps are worth what they charge Oem ap straps are fantastic and you probably should get 1 or 2; they are pricey but have metal build into the strap fittings which makes a difference HK Tan seems to be a good mix of quality and price but his delivery times and services is incredibly inconsistent Donerix has some good reasonable priced options so may be a good way to go for a couple of other Anything on rubber should stay Rep croc is what always needs replacing
18. You will get the itch again soon Enjoy your watch until that time comes
19. Told you to post your questions on the forum, but you still don't listen Angus is a great dealer that doesn't mean his customer service staff or non angus himself sales staff is knowledgable about gens or replicas; they are likely minimum wage workers and may not even speak English well If you don't want to listen to experienced members, go figure it out on your own Dealers are here to get you the watch you want, the forums are here to figure out which watch to ask for.
20. Glad to hear it GSW may have done some things to get into trouble but is a businessman not a scammer He should go the proper route and apply to be a dealer/vendor on one of the forums His trouble mainly stems from him pretending to be a regular member/hobbiest but acting like a vendor
21. If seized by us customs sounds like that will be destroyed not returned to sender Deny, deny ; hopefully dealer will send you another or at least work something out with you How about the details What port of entry (NYC, lax, Dallas, etc) What brand / model rep Us customs checking/seizing rep watches is quite rare Most all are Dallas
22. No scam That is the real deal PureTime (angus) There is a language barrier and time zone differences you know Most questions can probably be better answered by experienced forum members than by PureTime cs staff Please temper your service expectations when buying illegal goods
