  1. Try Ttw168.com Don't think it was raid related, the dealers change urls frequently Little if any difference between perfect clones and trusty time but great options (I say little difference because they are friends and some would say business partners)
  2. They wear similar The DSSD sits a little taller on the wrist/thicker but not a big difference between how the diver and DSSD wear
  3. If it has seconds at 12 and is a rep, it is/was made by the noob factory
  4. 086 makes sense it looks like the 164 above but with the seconds sundial in silver Otherwise same numbers as 164 In terms of available reps the 164 or 088 would be your best options I think
  5. Search "flying b" and you should find a few Not sure any will be less a year old though, it is not a brand new rep
  6. Was never easy You could try vac in the us He is doing coatings but long wait and cost is a little higher than others For an Omega you could spend a little more and get a gen crystal Believe Ofrei in the us sells them
  7. Great review! Have one in transit to me right now and I am more excited for its arrival after reading your review and seeing your great pics!
  8. You will not be disappointed with either the ap diver v3 or the noob v2 243
  9. You will have yourself a good laugh 5 years from now when he returns for another (I an sure you will forget by then until you open it up)
  10. Yeah until the front crystal is sapphire it won't be a super rep : same as the 253 Shame because they are great reps otherwise
  11. Awesome! First v3 I have seen with cyclops ar'd Thought there were some issues with uwe and many well known forum members though?
  12. I don't bother just set the time and date if applicable in the morning when you choose the lucky daily winner Why waste the electricity? Have a 2 watch winder and haven't even plugged it in for years
  13. Saw a very similar post about the site being blocked at an apple store recently as well
  14. Bad attitude about the whole issue by rockarep / GSW Obviously very knowledgable and could have been a valuable member but saw this forum as a place to sell not a community to share information and help fellow members IMO if he was innocent he would have realized how it could look suspicious to any moderator worth their salt Overall great job by the mod team here
  15. Great review Questions about the differences have been asked and answered so many times but I believe this is the first thread visually showing those differences and is very helpful Thanks
  16. Difficult situation for sure but value your chance to say goodbye. All to often our lived ones pass before we feel we have closure or told them how important they were to us (I am thinking of my fathers passing just a couple of years ago)
  17. I think you have a few warranted questions. The best thing to do would be too ask for a couple additional photos that focus in our specific areas. It is hard to tell 100% without asking and receiving another photo for #1, #2 and the cyclops position on #3 1. "6" number at the bezel appears to chipped and missing some black paint (see first 3 photos). This kind a bothers me. Does seem like a little paint is missing here. If that would bother you I would ask for a photo showing the 6 specifically. Chipped or slightly missing bezel paint has been a somewhat common issue with the 029, I think members have used black show polish in some cases or similar remedies. 2. Small scratch/ding above the "22" (see 2nd photo)? It doesn't appear to be a reflection/dirt I would ask for a photo of this area, could be a ding ; another photo would help. 3. How is the cyclop alignment and AR on it, I can't really decide. I assume the cyclops is fine and it is just the angle of the photo, so you want to request one straight on to double check but haven't heard any issues with the cyclops in the wrong position so highly doubt that is the case with yours. 4. Is this a single or double AR? AR looks good to me 5. How are "6" & "9" on the dial, it looks like an improvement over the v1, correct? Look great, entire dial looks spot on 6. Black spot below the CG screw (3rd photo), I hope it is only a reflection/dirt I wouldn't worry about this personally. Don't think there is anything there. 7. CG cut out looks perfectly squared and pretty flush. Yeah, this is nice improvement! 8. Strap is a little scratches, but I don't mind. This strap scratches quick, the day you try it on you will create your scratches from the buckle, so no need to worry here. 9. +/- 10 seconds per day does not bother me, i'm ok with that. That is fine. Overall looks great, if the bezel paint will bother you that would be the main issue to be concerned with. Keep in mind these photos are very magnified in real life you may never see a little paint missing from an edge of the 6 if it in fact is missing and not a photo angle trick. The ding really doesn't worry me much, if it really is a ding and there are no other problems, I would accept it anyway myself. Watches get minor dings and a perfect rep is hard to find so I could live with it, and as I said who knows what that is without another photo. The cyclops I think is fine but if you are worried just ask for a straight on shot. Everything else looks good to me.
  18. Well said PeteM I agree with everything u said My guess is this op got [censored] because the watch he ordered and paid for was out of stock and they couldn't tell him when new stock would be in That is now part of the game as well, especially on a new release / popular watch from the noob factory
  19. I think everyone is giving this guy too much credit He probably bought a rep on a scam site claiming Swiss made and believes it because he read it on a website The watch he has is probably identical to one sold by a TD here only difference is the cost was 3x more
  20. The noob version is the best Toro or Angus (PureTime) have it available though likely on back order so be prepared to pay first and wait a few weeks if u want it On either site just make sure u are buying the "noob" factory version and you are fine Even if you by mistake order an older noob model there is no old stock so you will get the latest and greatest when your order is ready I believe josh and Andrew have decided not to sell new noob releases because of the stock availability and instead are pushing their h factory offerings as better With the 111 the noob is better though, Only josh or Andrew would tell you otherwise
  21. Should add much has been stated about the inner bezel lume but really only related to the application itself (being a little sloppy or uneven) but I haven't heard anyone who has received the watch flat out come out and say this is not genuine SL like I just did! Also should have mentioned watch wears much better than the tall on the wrist AP ROO chronos, probably the most comfortable fitting watch I have ever strapped on my wrist.
