  1. Yeah there is no great pam rep under 44mm
  2. 1 on the wrist no worry at all Worn a rep watch into Italy twice and Switzerland once from the usa in the past 2 years ; never even questioned or looked at Always travel when flying with just watch on my wrist no backups Having more in your bags is taking some risk (once was Rome airport, FCO)
  3. Any ap with seconds at 12 movement is and has always only been made by Noob factory So if you are looking for non noob factory ap roo reps you will be very disappointed
  4. I bought a modded 111 from him recently (post rockarep drama) and was pleased with everything His communication was good Cats the number he gave you, try it on USPS.com and see if it shows any updates Highly doubt he scammed you on the strap
  5. In the dealers section of the forum updated links for the dealers should be there They tend to change their URL every 6 months or so Using tapatalk on my phone so can provide a link easily
  6. I have both absolutely no visible difference as long as u are talking about a noob from a 111n Neither is better than the other
  7. Welcome Knowledge base here is rock solid Tends to have less noobies so therefore less posts in general but some really friendly members that know their stuff
  8. Funny as convenient as it is to change the straps I find myself afraid to change straps on my 243 in fear the qr will break I change on my unscrew type lugs much more often despite that taking longer and not being as easy It is nice that the 243 from noob at least comes with the qc tool I don't think it is possible to bypass the qr system and use screws Think you could use special spring bars though as an alternative , they sell those on panatime I think
  9. PureTime deals with the higher quality factories if that is your concern it should not be one
  10. Wow old post, lol As PeteM mentions some gens have colorless AR, some blue tint, slightly yellow/green, purple, etc The different aftermarket options usually have similar variation Your best option is to match the ar service to your gen AR is often a long wait so be forewarned!
  11. Brian Do realize or hopefully learn from this post that paypal has nothing to do with buyer protection when forum members are buying from the trusted dealers ; as stated above it is simply the easiest way to pay If you don't agree with that than the dealer would prefer not take your order to begin with I really hope you realize by the tone of the posts in this thread that even the mention of paypal dispute will get the forums very upset As I previously stated pretend you paid WU and come to a resolution with the dealer If you can't both agree take it to a forum moderator and if still trouble post it to the forum and out the dealer That is how we get problems resolved not with paypal disputes
  12. Related news PureTime changed his policies today to require an application and prior purchase requirement in order to be allowed to pay by PayPal All I could think of when I saw that is what took a dealer so long!!! OP Treat this transaction the same as you would treat it if you sent the money western union
  13. OP we are not judging you just giving you the benefit of the doubt that you didn't know the severity of a PayPal dispute on a replica item from a trusted dealer Your one dispute can cost that dealer thousands which hurts all of us, is that fair because you got a faulty watch Just don't go down that road The dealer will take care of you, you may have to incur some costs in the end but that is the nature of the beast
  14. Like many trusted dealers he likely had one of his workers actually ship the watch I feel for your inconvenience but paypal dispute in this hobby is not for being inconvenienced. It is for being ripped off/scammed only! If you do it you should be blacklisted by all dealers and banned from all forums, that is how serious it is!
  15. Puretime, Toro plus basically any dealer not named josh or Andrew It is so popular though, expect to pay first and join a wait list for stock unless u get lucky
  16. Trusty vs. Kuravist is easy = same exact watch Only difference is the strap. Kuravist makes and I believe now exclusively sells the best rep version of the asso strap. So I guess I would say that is a better watch overall ; however a riskier purchase. Trusty is a trusted delaer and gauranteed to come through for you and I would expect top notch service. Kuravist is not a trusted dealer, so using him you are taking on more risk and I believe payment options would be more limited and would not expect as great a service experience. DSN is really a wild card as I have not seen this before and has been introduced with no fanfare. From the picture only it seems to be a different watch than the H factory version. Although the CG seems better it is still not as good as the newest Noob cg's nor is the fit to the case. It probably is a better CG than the H factory version sold by Trusty and Kurvasit though. Quality of the AR / Crystal impossible to tell based on pics between the 2. The lume color on the dial looks off on DSN"s compared to the others and the lume looks to be applied even taller (more sausage like) which is an issue. The gen has very flat lume, the H factory slightly raised which is a flaw and this DSN one seems even more raised So not only height application but also sahde of color of lume seems worse on the DSN Lastly in DSN's favor the hands appear to be close rin color to the gen. Have heard the gen in real life looks more rose gold than the rep and DSN's hand color does seem better in that regard. Would love to hear other's opinions. Maybe DSN is not any different than the H Factory version and just the different photos are making it look different to me? It were my money I would go with the H Factoory version rather than take a chance on an unknown. The H-Factory is a fantastic watch and if the CG really bothers you the only perfect solution is to go with a noob case and cg (which is costly) But for the value of the forum would prefer you tried out DSN's and reported back. For some good quality gen photos to compare to: http://panerai.watch.../ti-740878/s-0/ Lastly my rep post change into Noob case and CG and on OEM strap My rep before change into Noob case and CG and on Kuravist's strap (which I oiled)
  17. I have a rep geek account, if you post a link in the thread I will look at it
  18. Can u provide link or photos if DSN 390? Otherwise it is unclear to me at least if you are talking about the same watch or a different one
  19. Are they any different? Thought only the h factory made a 390 rep?
  20. I would at least research his feedback on multiple forums before shipping him and watches or money right now Hope he will take care of some of the current issues ; obviously others are very happy with his service.
  21. That looks amazing oncyte!!! Great job As far as replacing with noob case and cg Only way to get those parts are getting lucky in the member sales / parts section or buying a new noob 111n to get the parts
  22. You would only approach a watchsmith if you know what u want done You could have The Zigmeister or someone else service the movement and relume the hands and dial but personally find the rep lume perfectly fine and if movement is working fine no need to service right away. You could have him waterproof it I guess? So why would you want to contact a watchsmith about your watch? If you want to improve the cg you will need to buy parts to DIY or send to a watchsmith People like The Zigmeister don't have the parts nor will they buy them or source them for you I bought an extra noob factory case and cg and switched those onto my 390 Big improvement though not cheap Easy to do, really don't need a pro like The Zigmeister for this type of swap If u just get a noob new cg it likely won't fit your 390 h factory case ; That is why I swapped cases instead of just cg
  23. Would definitely be nervous about customs for that many watches. Assuming a little over $300 per watch, you would be talking 30 plus watches? If they ship 2-3 watches per shipment ; you would be getting 10 - 15 shipments.
  24. Regarding the Pam No mix up When the factory changed the caseback drop m to n they no longer made the m nor will they moving forward Many times dealers don't update their websites It is the same watch just with a different caseback so not sure why you would care?
