  1. This weekend I'm refreshing my diving and adding up a rescue diver cert as well. Man I missed the water. The dial in the project watch came from Chi and it's beat up further by me. I will post pictures tomorrow. I keep getting compliments on the Seiko 7002 though E
  2. Thats very nice CC
  3. Send me a PM. I'm in Westchester.
  4. Give me until Monday Nanuq. I'm taking a test tomorrow and Sunday. Manual mind, big crown, etc...
  5. Apparently they are "out of stock" of that 7922 and no individual parts available yet. I am liking the dial a lot. E
  6. There's on on the 'bay for a whopping $250 now. Nanuq, Would you consider a manual wind big crown? 7924 as was discussed last year is a stunner and an easy build if you have the right parts. E
  7. This I really like. That blue insert IS a beaut!
  8. Interesting Freddy. I have been looking at the new cases for the 16610 series and was hoping to get a decent Tudor dial to stick in there. To me, definitely best of both worlds. E
  9. I'll get to it tomorrow. As you probably know, I'm a cheap bastard, but certain things cannot be skimmed on. I think the Tudor big crown is a great watch overall, plus, because of its rarity, it can be a better build than say a 6200. I was even thinking of calling it good and just finish the 5513 case and reusing the bezel assembly after aging it and call it a military Tudor big crown with the modern bezel, but it won't look as good as the notched bezel. Thanks brother and I will PM you later tonight. E
  10. If only I could find that bezel. The josh case is almost done. Took me forever to flatten the case back. Does anyone know if Clark's can get the old style bezel assemblies?
  11. Good information for sure. Thanks for sharing. E
  12. That is what I was hoping for. My wife has a cream foundation thingy that looks exactly like the markers on the dial. I will be mixing that with the binder and see what comes up for the hands. E
  13. Gary @ Clark's has all of the gaskets and part numbers. Send him an email. E
  14. I'm going to keep this dial as is and just match the hands. Case reshaping is one thing I need to tackle when I get the case. E
  15. Hate to hijack a thread(I do really) but what do you guys think of this dial for a 16800 using the ST case?
  16. CT, maybe the build should then be a very very early 16800 and see how it goes. E
  17. The 6263 you have is a seagull powered one right? Posting pictures of the watch and movement always help. Some of these watches share nothing with gen or each other, and some share a lot. Post pictures of the movement and the case. Also, you may be able to unload the NY bezel to recoop the investment as well. E
  18. I would love to get my hands on a 3135 just to see what's going on there. The 3135 height is listed as 6mm. The 3035 is listed as 6.3mm? The 3135 is NOT the same height as the 2824, yet the case is supposed to take the movement. TC copied post about the case and the gen 3135. That read, if you already have the 3135 with dial and hands and everything is kosher, the simplest and most logical/practical thing would be to transplant. E
  19. Sorry to hear about the mishap. No pressing crystals with movement in next tim CT. I think the TC and BK TW cases are going to be ok for all bezel assemblies, but the movements may be the issue, depending on the movement you're currently using. TC sells his with the 2824-2 in mind. E
  20. Sen me pictures of the crown. E
  21. That case loos really good. Stem alignment? I was joking about the movement CT . Looking for one for cheap for the 666 project. E
  22. Thank you sir. I probably do this for the SSD as well, just to see. E
  23. That looks damn nice Justin.
  24. Now I'm looking or the high canon pinion for the 2824-2. Damn OCD.
