  1. I'm liking your 212 Sixx !! Shame I sold mine !! Think I'll slip on the B01 this weekend - bought from Sixx !!
  2. There's only one way to find out - do some research, find one you like and order it... when it arrives you can decide for yourself - simples !!
  3. Anyone interested in having their watch crystals A/R'd? I am now ready to start my first "run". For details and photos please click here to see my original post: AR Service in the UK/EU I am able to remove/replace crystals in watch cases that do not have an issue with bezel/rider tabs (eg Breitlings!) but movements should be removed. Please send me a PM or email me at: arcoatingsuk@gmail.com for full details. Cheers !
  4. Apparently for £1800 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. That is STUNNING...........................LY BAD !! It looks like a mid size and the pearl is.... well, crap !! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the 007 Limited Editions came in different coloured boxes, (not red), with special paperwork... Some people have got some real nerve to try and pass this kind cheap rubbish as genuine !!
  6. Does anyone know if the crsytals from an ETA SMP and A7750 SMP Chrono are the same and can they be interchanged?
  7. Apologies to anyone waiting for a first AR "Run". I will be going away for 3 weeks in the middle of April so I didn't want to risk not being able to return people's crystals. So, I've decided it will be better if I wait 'til I get home in the fist week of May before I organise the first run. In the meantime, anyone interested in getting their crystals AR'd in the UK, please let me know (via this thread, PM or email: arcoatingsuk@gmail.com). Cheers Fireman_Fred
  8. Nice one automatico ! I have the Jack Daniels - what more do I need !!
  9. Anyone else interested in A/R coating in the EU? I am hoping to do my first run very soon...
  10. Hi Sixx, tried to send you a PM but I think your box is full !!
  11. I haven't attempted to do any real damage to my sample crystal as yet but it appears to be pretty tough. The company who will be doing the AR coating for me claims that their coatings are "highly durable". One of their specialities is aircraft cockpit lighting applications.
  12. Now we're cookin'on gas !!!! IMO (and quite a few others !), Ducati make the sexiest looking bikes out there.
  13. Thanks for your interest and kind words. I knew this question would pop up but I haven't asked about A/R stripping yet. I will make some enquiries and let you know.
  14. OK, as requested, here are some more photos. Can I first apologise for my lack of skills in the photography department! All pics taken with my trusty Kodak 5MP V570 compact and no Photoshopping has been done. Any specs or marks on the lens are lint or dust (I tried to clean it as best as I could before I took the photos). 1) Indoors, natural sunlight through a window: 2) Outdoors (in shade): 3) Outdoors (in sunlight):
  15. Will do ! Great avatar btw ! Saw one fly over Southampton last week to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the first Spitfire to take to the skys.
  16. Both sets of photos were taken indoors, in the same place but in slightly different lighting conditions. When I took the photos with A/R it was an overcast day. I will try and get some more shots today. The tint will be blue unless I get an overwhelming request for a different colour.
  17. I already own a gen Lewis Hamilton/Vodafone Mclaren Mercedes Tag Aquaracer LE. I look forward to adding a Valentino Rossi/Ducati Tag to my collection !! BTW Sixx, the link in your post (above) doesn't seem to be working.
  18. Great looking bike ! Love the curley wurley exhaust pipes !! Shame the B&R clock on the tank isn't a B&R speedo !!
  19. Thanks for all your interest I have now got a crystal back with double A/R and the results looks good ! I have negotiated a price and at the moment I can offer a double A/R service for a single crystal of £35 inc. shipping for a run of 20 crystals. As this will be my first run, I am only accepting crystals already removed. I am hoping the next phase will be to offer a crystal remove/replace service if the movement has alreay been removed (as required). Please let me know if you are interested. Here are a couple of pics of my sample crystal, "before" and "after" A/R coating: BEFORE: AFTER: You can post on this thread, leave me a PM or email me at: ARCoatingsUK@gmail.com.
  20. On a more serious note.... If you remove a crystal from a water resistant watch (eg Seiko "100m"), will it still be water resistant when the crystal is replaced? (assuming it's put in correctly with a press).
  21. I will post some pics and confirm prices as soon as I get my crystals back.
