This guy is selling an "Omega Seamaster 300" on Ebay but he's posted two photos of completely different watches !! Note the different bezels and different bracelets ! Even the box in the 2nd photo is a rep box !! What a muppet !!! Click here for: Muppet of the week ??!

...I think I'll play safe and stick to using silicone spray oil on my watch bracelets!

Jakub Jablonski (aka K2222) managed to set up a business whereby he had a watchmaker to remove crystals (for a small additional cost) and the facility to get the AR treatment applied. The first runs he did were pretty good, the later runs (before he vanished), were superb. Despite the fact that Jakub ran off into the mist, (with a number of RWG members' watches/crystals), he was able to get an AR business set up to coat rep watch crystals for rep watches. Where did Jakub get the crystals ARed? (presumably somewhere in Poland) and if he could do it, why isn't there anyone else who can do it? Surely Cheiftang isn't the ONLY person in the world who can offer such a service to the members of RWG (and other forums) ?

That's scandalous !!! Wayward said that he had reported it to Ebay and so did I - but it still sold !! So much for Ebay clamping down on the sale of counterfeit goods !!

For the last 4 years I have owned a Ducati 900SS which is worth around 2000 Euros. My Fully Comprehensive Insurance + Breakdown Recovery cost me 100 Euros. - I'm in the UK. I think my 34 years motorcycle riding experience weighs in my favour !!

I'm very impressed that you managed to get Swiss movements from Silix (or any dealer for that matter), without paying "through the nose! ! I used to own a Silix SMP (a year or so ago) but I was very disappointed with the dial - the waves were very flat and hardly showed at all... How are your dials? Oh, and sorry to be "picky" but the CGs are way off...

I have only one word for this particular model:

Black dial, black rubber - Nice !! I love the Bond bracelet...... but not on this watch. I think the Speedy bracelet "suits" it better IMHO.

Living on the south coast of the UK, I've done a lot of yacht sailing/racing over the years. Most summers, there is a "European Firefighters Sailing Challenge" where firemen (and women) from across Europe get to battle it out on the briney and then get to battle it out in the bar afterwards. Generally, we, the Brits go to have a bit of a laugh but the French Firefighters (Sapeurs Pompiers) take it VERY seriously and turn up with stripped out, factory Beneteaus !

I bought my SMP Chrono with gen bezel from Steppen. I believe that he had the bezels swapped by The Zigmeister so it definately CAN be done. Might be worth having a word with The Zigmeister...
