The looks good and could very well had real gold links as some of our dealers here carry. They are usually 8-10k gold at best. The lady DJ looks good. All lady DJ with the swiss movement will use the 2671 as it is one of the only movements at will fit in the case. Gen Tudor lady DJ also use the 2671. It is a good movement just like the mens 2824 and 2836 used in their reps. The Asian copy of ETA movements are usually only found in mens watches so far. I have yet to see a lady DJ with a clone of the 2671...but don't worry as I am sure it is in the works!

Why didn't you just return the item and receive a refund if you were not 100% happy with it? That would have been much nicer than leaving that feedback. I would not take it as he was offering a bribe, but rather making up for the problem you had. Have you ever been somewhere to eat and were not 100% sat. so they gave you a gift certificate to come back? Just my 2 cents...

Years ago many dealers were selling sold gold midlink bands with their watches for an extra $150 a piece. I did a test back then (8 years ago or so) and they tested out to be 9kt-10kt gold. The strange thing was the color was dead on. I guess it has to do with what metal they mix with the gold to make the band. To me it is very important that the gold does not wear off and can be polished. With so many aftermarket band placed on gen Rolex watches it is impossible to call out a rep because of the band. You could though easily call it out if the gold was wearing off. I had a watch dealer/repair person for many years that was selling me 10kt replacement bands that I would change my rep bands with. I would just transfer the rolex marked parts to the new band. They cost me about $150 also and they were an easy way to upgrade my reps to real gold bands. The dealer passed away about 2 years ago and I have yet to find his "source". I could get these in both jubilee and oyster versions. At 10kt the gold content is worth probably about $120 even at $1k a kt I believe. No one should have a concern with what they are buying if they trust their dealer. I am sure if a honest dealer makes a statement and it is not so, they would refund your money or get you a replacement. The entire issue in the rep trade is TRUST. Know your dealer and if they stand behind their product!

Your rep looks like a good rep to me. I will say there is nothing better than owning a gen daytona. I have an 18k yellow gold with a gold and black subdials dial on mine. I get so many comps on my watch. If it is your dream watch buy it, you only live once and might as well enjoy life! Good luck with your purchase!

I have a "seconds at 9" Daytona with a 7750 movement. Does anyone know where I can source another dial for my watch? It is a SOLID 18k replica and was wanting to maybe change to another dial. It needs to have the gold accents since it is a gold watch. Most dealers do not carry the seconds at 9 any longer with the 7750. I wonder if any of the asian automatic dials would work? I don't know what the spacing is on any of the dials. Please Help!

Looks like the asian clone ETA movement. With the rising prices of REAL ETA movements I am sure we will be seeing this more often.

Looks good to me and I consider myself a Rolex expert. There are so many variations of Rolex dials not to mention redials that are common too. Even the gen Jubilee bracelet is light feeling. The Oyster band would look nice and feel a bit heavier. Good catch! Enjoy!!!

Just purchase a lady's Rolex from Silix with the oyster band. That is what I did when I puchased a Tudor for my wife. It fit great and looked 99% gen! I am sure you could then sell the watch head on here and offset your cost of the new watch!

These are both vry good models. The movement is actually a replica of the Tudor Prince movements and they are darn good! Enjoy either one that you decide to purchase as they are both good buys!

Which dealers sell the ETA version of this watch and which one should I ask for?
