  1. Nice job with the crown guards. The Puretime guards are really good to start but they have just a slight bit too much of a point. You removed that wee bit of material on the end and they look awesome now. It is on my list of things to do with my Puretime red 1680.
  2. I hope this will work for the Puretime 1680 dials, as well.
  3. Wow. This is really fantastic! I'll have to try this or a cigar when I get around to doing some aging.
  4. I'll throw my name in. Heck, no harm in that. I can always tell when we are on a day when my 1680 is left justified, due to the fact that I tend to walk in counterclockwise circles those days. I'd like to stop walking in circles without having to file off the left side of my date window!
  5. Yeah, that was the only bezel that had saw teeth. On Jake's Rolex Blog he says Roger Moore wore a 5512 and a 5513 in "The Man with the Golden Gun." He wore a 5513 in "Live and Let Die." In "The Spy Who Loved Me" he wore a GMT Master and he also wore this in other non-Bond movies from that era. In real life he wore a sub and GMT Master.
  6. If you are a member on Homage Forum he has a sponsored section there. You can read his sales thread discussing this with fantastic pics of his crown compared to the gen. You'll need a stem adapter. He will include one for you for a few bucks.
  7. That would be awesome! Thank you. Very much appreciated. :-) We can work out details if you get a pack .
  8. That's why I asked you fellas if anyone wants to sell one after they arrive. I don't need 5 sets and chances are, neither do others. Right?
  9. Would anyone be willing to sell one pair? :-) I'll email the seller too, but I have a feeling these might be packaged in larger packs.
  10. Thanks Ronin. What if I only need one set? :-/ Do you think he'd work with me on a onesie basis?
  11. I found a thread over on RWI but it wasn't the same one. Anyway, the author bought these similar ones from Ofrei, Jules Borel, Startime, and Ebay. I just hopped onto Ofrei and they have them but on one side there is a double pin. Like a pin within a pin. No shoulder, so they function the same, but just that different look. Like what you posted above but only on one side. They are 1.8mm but the pin diameter is .9mm instead of 1.2mm. There was another site where I saw them but I'm just not able to find the link. You had to buy 10 bars but they were exactly the same as the 2mm bars. Same pin diameter.
  12. Yeah, those aren't right. These were exactly like the 2mm bars just at 1.8mm. All the other dimensions were identical.
  13. In my case I can either buy new endlinks and use the WSO ones which will solve the problem, but new 1.8mm bars would be far cheaper and then I'd have spares in case this ever came up again.
  14. Let me do some digging on my PC. A bunch of people shared options in this thread I remember. I just got busy and never acted on any of it, and then with Tapatalk on my phone it is hard to track it down again since I never marked it.
  15. Maybe I misread what you are after. Just to confirm, you are looking for shoulderless right? Identical to 2mm sub bars but just in 1.8mm instead? Maybe they are out? In the thread I'm thinking of a few people chimed in about the ST bars being the same spring tension as gen, and another person showed a macro shot of the bar tip ends. Some are rounded and one of the sources has a slight point shape.
  16. Your timing is impeccable. I had this identical question as my 2mm gen-spec Yuki bars won't line up with my PT 1680. The 2mm bars use up all of the play within the endlinks so the tips aren't able to link with the lug holes. There was a thread over on RWI and I think another one here last year with a lot of resources. Of course I didn't bookmark either of them, but I believe the consensus was Startime, Ofrei and another source all have them. An Ebay seller also has them but you have to buy something like 5 sets. The bar diameter is 1.8mm. The inner width is 20mm and the pins are the same length and diameter as the 2mm bars. They are exactly what I need for my situation. I just have to dig up the links and buy them.
  17. Gorgeous pics with the new T19. My gosh, it is stunning. I have to install this on my red 1680. That profile is so sexy.
