They are made using similar methods so yes the plate shows through like Ivan's or gens but he uses a modern lacquer that doesn't look 100% right sheen wise (that's me being very very anal) most won't notice or care. They are the second best option behind the Ivan dials, they claim to use gen plates but I can tell you for a 200% fact that they are not.

Thanks again, it took a lot of hard work and a few prototypes to finally get one exaclty the way I wanted it. The gen parts help a lot too!

Thank you. Parts are phong mid case with a gen bezel and gen long 5 insert. Gen 7206 band, gen 1030 movement and a custom dial redone using an orig plate. Michael Young hands aged and relumed to match the dial. Gen tropic 17 superdome and gen brevet crown.

Well done!!

It is hard to tell to the untrained eye but that is a gilt dial. In proper lighting and with proper exposure the gilt parts are "gold" toned they just look white in his pics. It's a period correct swiss only gilt 2 line 5512 dial.

I agree that if it is a new member with no posts buying from a trusted established member then a pp gift option is the only way to go. If they aren't willing then there's something wrong and it's better to not proceed

I have a small wrist and mostly wear 40mm or less like you. The mbw Patek nautilus suits our wrists very well and is well made, any older Audemars Classic like 15300 or older are less than 40mm. Actually I took a chance with the new 41mm 15400 and it's great, I thought it might be too big but it's perfect and the quality of the miyota version is quite amazing.

The dial is very subpar, so is the crown and hands. Guys the only parts worth spending money on, for a 6538 especially, is phong's case set. The dials are better from Minh and crowns from athaya

It's so so hard to read things like this about someone I care about. I'm so sorry. My heart goes out to you and your family, be strong, keep fighting you never know. Lots of love

thanks panerai, momo and freddy! its my first time with a manual canera, its easy to nail the focus outside like with this bee (rest in peace bud) but indoors its supposed to have great iso levels (50k max) but i cant get the focus as dead on inside (kitten pics) practice makes perfect!

"I get the same thing here. If I upload to Tapatalk hosting I lose all the picture quality. So I put them on my server and post them via http link. The difference is just outstanding, but then again if you're posting 15MB pictures I suspect your audience will diminish rapidly." I suspect you're right the larger files would be very annoying to look at for comp users. Your pics look like they haven't lost a single detail, the server idea may be the way to go. Overall I'm happy though I can still see lots of the orig details, just can't zoom in the way I can with the orig's "I take photos for a living and i reckon you nailed it .. really nice pics of a fantastic watch .. Thank you, that means a lot

Another great camera, I was this close to grabbing that instead but I found a great used rx1r in perfect cond for considerably less then in the stores. I'm dying to play with one of those ovf's I hear they use a hybrid system with two views.

It's a gen matte service dial for a 6538, not in great shape.
