I don't think they are meant to come out, there's no lip like with rolex bezels so they are most likely glued in.

There are two stem sizes, .9 and 1.1, for the 8mm crown you'll need the 1.1mm stem

Very nice!

They wear really great you're right, something about the big crown, no crown guards and coin edge bezel that strikes a chord with me and others. Same for me today

I can't believe you still have the cahones to swim with it after all those expensive upgrades! Brave brave man!!!

I liked my rep 1675 so much I was compelled to get a gen. 1978 mk4 After I changed the crystal I realized how clean the dial was, the hands are a shade darker though.

My noob question of the week....Rivet Bracelet Adjustment

Michael young has a method of using a rubber hammer to bend back the metal. He hits it at the base close to where it folds until it's perfect, works like a charm, just be sure to have the band on a non scratch surface when doing it of course! -
Thx The watch is a rep "blueberry" with gen dial I picked up last week, the blue insert was cool but I like gen inserts too much

there are still some great old parts around at low prices. I took a chance today and instead of hunting for a vintage insert on the net like I usually do, I went to visit a few old shops in town to see if by chance any of them had one. At the very first store I went to, the owner pulled out a handful of old gmt inserts, a bunch of them were unappealing but a few were nice, I have no idea if they are all for 1675's or not but boy are they cool looking. Paid less for all 4 then one cost on vrm! This is a store that has an inhouse service center so if you guys know of any places like that where you live take a chance you never know what you might find! Sorry for the crappy pics, didn't feel like pulling my camera out

He's good for hands inserts and bezels of most any model.

It's more behind the scenes because he became very popular with the gen crowd, He consolidated both sites and doesn't display his rep wares anymore. Email him and ask for whatever you need, he will help.

Very nice pics!!

I would normally agree to stay away from phong's dials (cases are great) but I had a look at his red dials and 2/3 are actually quite good, the third is horrid and doesn't match with any known gen examples. Make sure you are getting one of the two good ones. Edit the two comparo's are both gen top phong bottom

Wowie! That's a nice lot. I think I like the milgauss 6541 the best, it's what I would be infatuated with if I was a buyer. There's something off with the 6538 (lot 158) it has a relume which isn't mentioned, the crystal is def not a t17 it looks like aftermarket or a gen t19 perhaps, the case bevels are very wrong and the overall finish of the case is tres bizzare.. after studying it I'm thinking that this case is not genuine. -
Thanks MY is Michael Young the famous band restorer from China. Classicwatchparts
