The rehaut can be removed by unscrewing all the bezel screws and removing the bezel/glass, then remove rehaut, polish and reinstall

You can really learn a lot here, use the search feature and find out how far you can go, I made one with a bunch of gen parts in the 6k range and I love it. For 3k you could make something very nice.

Wow, terrible! But to be fair he is basically selling it with no dial at that price, that's why nobody said anything. Everything else is good and at a good price so someone can just toss that dial and plop in a gen.

Ok so he's lying about the hands, they are not original, they are aftermarket. The dial is his, it's ok but not great. The movement is right. It's not a Franken just because it has a gen movement and a 1680 insert.. His cases do accept gen parts but a t17 needs slight shaving to fit. If you can get it cheep enough it may be worth it as a base to make a real Franken but I know he prob wants a lot so stay away, build your own based on his case or phong's

I picked up an mk1 super fat font insert and it really makes the watch pop, I'm so glad I ended up keeping it. I think this is the one they call kissing 40 and as a bonus the pearl is a near perfect match!
