  1. Oh, i though it graduates from blue to black but I'm not the one buying the watch, what do I know? lol
  2. Honestly, looks very gen to me had not my friend Ezio pointed out the "tell".. very nice watch. How much did you spend on this?
  3. Basically, any chick that needs me to wear a nice watch to be interested in me can grow a dick and go f**k herself. The watch is for me alone. She can share my time if she is worthy.
  4. post some pics when you get it.. the dial could appear different in various lightings and from some angles it could appear very pretty i suspect.
  5. Now that you mention it, I see the truth in what you said. Lol.
  6. The rep AP ROO uses a modified version of the movement termed the A7750 sec@12, which utilises 3 transfer gear to shift the running seconds to the 12 o'clock position. All versions of the AP ROO reps use this movement, though some hand designs vary (e.g. survivor, RB2, the 44mms, GPs etc) So yes, canon pinion height is the same in all versions of the Chronopassion, or more accurately put, in all versions of the 42mm ROOs at least. The differences in the various versions of the CP (v1-5?) are subtle in my opinion. But movement wise they would be almost identical though the ones from late 2012 use a slightly improved sec@12 movement.
  7. yes normal for reps. Due to the large hands pinion of the A7750 movement. The good news is, don't worry about anything falling through.
  8. Lets be realistic. I noticed you asking about accurate Richard Mille reps, customized RG cases and now the AP RO Concept. These are all watches costing from $100k -$300k, and for good reason too. The intricacy and complexities of the movement, and the design work that went into customizing a very limited number of pieces would probably justify the asking price. Majority of the decent reps today are replicas of genuine watches which cost way less than $50,000, and it has gotten the rep makers years to get their manufacturing technology to produce a workable, wearable, but still imperfect imitation of the genuine watches of that price level. Therefore, if you are going to continue asking questions like the ones you have asked, you are apt to get disappointed with the answers. So before you ask, decent reps of Urwerk, Hublot LaFerrari, RM tourbillons and other astronomically priced watches do not yet exist. They may someday in the future, and when they do, you would find yourself reading about them rather than asking about them, if you care to stick around, and understand the current progress of the rep industry. So do some research, and if you have to ask, learn to ask the right questions here. Else I do not see the point of interacting based on a couple of open and shut threads about whether there are reps of this or that super exotic watch, or whether you could build a pure gold statue out that tells the time when you point at it and ask "time, goldie?" Do a search, and search and read well. Know what exists now, know the constraints and mentality of the rep makers. There are many many lovely rep models available in the market right now. If none of them suits your fancy, then my unsolicited but judicious advice is, save up for the genuine watch and be happy with what the rep industry cannot offer you. Try not to ask questions that can be clearly answered by a single word "NO".
  9. A list of the gen divers variants for reference: 1. Stainless steel 2. Forged carbon 3. Ceramic 4. White ceramic 5. QE2 6. Project X
  10. While waiting for mine to arrive, I keep coming to this thread which member projectologist started, to admire the pictures he posted. Its like walking by the car showroom to view the car again and again after while waiting for the one you ordered to be ready. Reviews like this are not useful at all. They only make you want a watch you know you don't need, to buy a watch which was previously shrouded in obscurity, and become poorer in the end. Where is the gain in that? :D
  11. In my opinion, my buddy and friend daytona1984 should be banned from RWG for creating envy and jealousy among other members, with his 101 AP, Hublot, IWC, Rolex and whatever else frankens he shows off from time to time. OK just joking! This (and many others) are very very nice watches, and took a lot of time and money to build. I cannot say how impressed I am by how this dude sources all the gen parts and puts them together via Domi and others.. Well done yet once again bro.
  12. what does this have to do with the oil prices in Iraq and the child labor situation in Cambodia?
  13. you know S, that sounds really funny.. lol But to the OP, I had a similar experience last year, and I just unscrewed the crown totally and left it in the sun for a few hours. (I had no access to RICE lol) Everything was good thereafter.
  14. well yes, if the waiting time is about a few days or 1 week, I would wait. By the way, lovely choice for the RG RO. Honestly with the way the RO reps are built, I personally would not buy the gen if I just want a beautiful looking dress watch.
  15. All part of the game, relax. why don't you ask for a partial refund while waiting? That way, you can always source this from another dealer. Or take your time to find a replacement watch. Its no big deal, really. But don't settle for second best just because you already paid. You likely won't be happy with whatever replacement watch you find.
  16. I agree with you, its a very nice looking diver. But it is one that belongs on the same page as justin bieber's likability, britney spears' singing talent, and paris hilton's clean bill of sexual health: non-existent in real life.
  17. I've been coming to this thread everyday and looking at the 448. I think I'll get one. Just a last silly question: does it take a lot of winds to fully wind the watch? I understand it's the new movement with the absurdly long PR. Sent from Mars using tapatalk
  18. No worries. If you need help to see that just PM me. A lot of guys think the noob and J12 dials are the same. At arms length maybe, but in reality the differences are in the finer details. Sent from Mars using tapatalk
  19. If a lady who is pretty and slim and has big knockers turn up at your door along with one who's plain looking but with equally big knockers, who will you spend the night with? Sent from Mars using tapatalk
  20. Yes. Look at ring around the dial just before the tachy. The noob one is more accurate in terms of the lengths of the 1-4seconds markers. Sent from Mars using tapatalk
  21. That's the 42mm panda, a nice watch on it's own but I'm referring to the 44mm panda made by noob. Sent from Mars using tapatalk
  22. Intime seems to have another variant of this, with the black strap. I have studied the rep and compared it against pictures of the gen, and I would have to say that this is very close. On Intime's site, you can see that the "SEVEN" and "FRIDAY" fonts are pretty accurate vs the gen.
  23. The time you spent coming on here to post this, could have been spent taking the credit card out of your wallet and paying for it, which is what I would have done for a 40% mark down watch I like.
