  1. It is good to return again to such a awesome news! I would just like to say that Mike has been a very helpful and kind soul, and spent a lot of his time dedicated to helping other members, patrolling the sales forum to keep it safe, and was a central pillar of support during the ugly MD2020 saga. Almost ubiquitous in RWG, Mike has shown himself to be highly dependable and tireless in rendering his service to the boards. With him, RWG has evolved to be a better and safer place for us all. So thank you Mike, and congratulations on the official appointment. It is well-deserved, and could not have gone to a better guy. When you buy that round of drinks, I would like to be there, invited or not. Al
  2. That, my friend, is a very lovely watch. One day I would like to wear one of these to a board meeting and let it chime when the yakkity yak gets too boring.
  3. Hey thks Big A.. but you probably got a bigger wrist than mine, and I wear the 44mm rather comfortably. I guess its a matter of personal preference (and yes wrist vanity)
  4. Sorry guys, I was dealing with some issues in the family.. The dial on the noob is better for me. The "ring" at the outer circumference of the dial, next to the tachy, is an obvious tell for me, given the length of the markers. The Noob one has the correct length. Having said that, the dial texture on the J12 seems to have better finish. I would pick the noob one ultimately, but its a close call.
  5. The dial says J12, but the movement looks like Noob. Please check with Ryan and ask for the version with the silver screws in the movement.
  6. He asked for which AP to buy, not which APs you own.
  7. Everything is good except the chick-yellow brother. Sent from Mars using tapatalk
  8. Mike, when you gonna get your first AP? lol been a long time coming..
  9. Link is working well for me Mike. Finally, one of the anticipated releases of 2014! It won't be for me though..
  10. I assume you're talking about the deployant clasp. There is just one tiny screw holding the contraption in place. Just unscrew it, and push out the rounded short rod. You might need to use some force or a pointed object as the fitting could be tight. Are you talking about the deployant clasp or the strap? There's only one small screw for the clasp-strap but the strap-end links use a bar and cap combination. Sent from Mars using tapatalk
  11. audaciously subtle, and a perfect and sportier alternative to the classic Royal Oak series.. I love the decorated rotor!
  12. Brilliant first post. If you do not have realistic expectations about replica watches, you should stop what you are doing now, take a moment and drive to the nearest ocean, and throw each replica watch you own into the sea while screaming "wheeeeeee! Another piece of trash gone!" as it goes sailing in an arc toward the ocean. The first rule of replicas, in my opinion, is not to believe any marketing hype, and not to believe that any "1:1 rep" exists. There are bound to be differences between the genuine and replica models, but also in the price tag! Do you truly expect a $500 rep to be exactly 100% like its $35000 counterpart? Most of us are here, because we can live with the theory that we get about 80-95% of the watch at 1-5% of the price. That is why we are here, and that is why the forum exists. Do not forget, also, that there are several resources available for you to modify and upgrade your watches here. So have some basic knowledge and realistic expectations. Whining like a child clamouring for candy during lunchtime is not going to score you points here. A lot of guys would tell you and your kind to go buy the genuine watch and stop complaining that your rep is not 1:1. So, in summary, either grow up or walk away. Return to your world where you walk wide-eyed down in a watch boutique, jaws unhinged, whipping your head left and right ogling at the genuine Audemars Piguets, Hublots, Panerais, and what have yous...and deciding which one you are going to save up for. When you finally purchase it, that will be a true 1:1 watch. Meanwhile, you would not find what you are looking for here. The exit is to the left, if you would.
  13. My bronzo stopped suddenly after 15min when I placed it on the desk. When I picked it up to set the time, I noticed that the hacking lever stopped working too. I sent it for service and repair and the modder mentioned that he had already repaired 2 bronzos before mine, all with various movement issues. So yes, there seemed to be an inherent issue with the movement for the Bronzos, I am unsure if this is extended to other ZFactory models using the same movement.
  14. That crazy hours.. hmm does it belong to you or the wife?
  15. Show us the watches and we will tell you what to add (or get rid of) :D I know the feeling...
  16. Lol actually both you and I know I was just being facetitious.. no offense meant and I hope no umbrage taken. I am far from being a legend anywhere. P.S. I have periodical difficulties logging on to RG too. Banned without reason from time to time.
  17. well, I agree totally. Man of good taste.
  18. I love it, and oh, I think you're sick, modifying your gens like that!
  19. I did notice though.. your datewheel seems to be white numbers on black whereas the one in mine is black on white?
  20. Lol thats a gen as well my friend! I do have a highly modded rep currently with Domi.. when that comes back, I shall post side by side pics. But of course, the caseback view would give it all away!
  21. yes as expected, it has the deep copperish hue, which I adore.. well done!
  22. Looks great, can you post a dial shot of that please? Would like to see the ocean salt patina-ed bronze in more detail.
  23. If you go to Macy's and try to exchange something bought from Walmart, would you blame the Macy staff from being helpless to do anything except laugh about it to her friends at lunchtime?
  24. Needs a set of gen hands to complete the look. These are becoming so bloody tough to find!
