Dear Scotty I respect you (and others like you) as a veteran member, and the beliefs you have regarding this. Trust me I do. Let me do a disclaimer: I posted his name and address out of my own accord, without consulting either the group that was affected or with the mod crew. I think that it is not right for Mike to do this to so many members, and I want everyone (and him) to know how serious I view his misdeeds. If he wants to pursue this legally, here I am. He has my address and name too, and I am here waiting, no problem. I do apologise to the admin crew (Admin and Nanuq, who have been very good to me) that I did this without prior notice. I want them to be able to say "No he did this on his own accord, unsanctioned by RWG" and of course they would be free to edit my posts or ban or restrict my privileges as they see fit. I fully respect that. My sole intention is just to let everyone here know what has been happening, and to warn anyone who has intention of working with him. Thank you kindly for your input. I am happy for you that you have gotten your watch back. There are many here that are not as fortunate, and they are herded down a different path of decision from you, given the simple fact that they are treated differently by MD2020. I stand by my decision to post his details, and I would face any consequence, legal or otherwise, arising from it.

oh its ok, no need to be sorry for me mate, its a lesson learnt and I want others to learn through my experience, not experience it for themselves!
-
Very apt. Except for the romantic bit.. lol A song never fails to make things better, thanks

10% of my watch would amount to a pusher and 3 bezel screws? just kidding. Seriously, I am done with the situation. He can keep the watch. I just wish to warn the community regarding my experience (and the experience of many others) Thank you for the kind suggestion though.

Yes I sent the watch to Removed I am based in Singapore. You would realise that retrieving my watch physically is not a viable option. But like I said, I'm done, and I am prepared for a total write-off. Thank you for your reply.

I must be one of the last to lose faith and trust in member MD2020. I have sent my watch to him, and paid him in advance. Now, as more information on him unfurls from various sources and the communication between us becomes non-existent, I am forced to admit that I have most likely misplaced my trust and I am ready for a total loss on my watch. It is a ROO with modifications, amounting in excess of $1000. There are others here who have even heavier stakes with him, and they have collectively not heard from MD2020 either, some for a period of few months without updates or communication. This simply is not acceptable. I am not here to call MD2020 any names, but I think it is to the community's benefit that you guys are aware of what is happening, and if you choose to deal with him, do so at your own risk. For those of you that could accept sending your watches to him, then getting silence as a response for an extended period, and having no recourse except waiting passively, he's your guy. Else, please stay clear. You have been warned. I think I have described the situation fairly without any prejudice or bitterness. I am prepared for a total loss on the watch, its fine. I just want to let the community know what to expect if you choose to send your watches to MD2020 for any work. Now, let MD2020 come and defend himself or protest my claims if what I said is untrue. I stand by what I am posting, and I think some of the members here agree with me. One of the key purposes of having a forum like this, is so that we can all be well-informed about the reputation of watchmakers, dealers, aftermarket sellers, and individual members. So I think my post is necessary for the benefit of others. MD2020, if you are reading this, keep my watch and your silence by all means. Your integrity is worth just that much. I'm done.

congrats and wear her well! Enjoy the poison.

wait for it to arrive mate. The dial is very hard to capture in pictures, I have not seen a picture that does the dial justice. For this watch, rep or not, it is a very nice looking one.
-
hard to tell from the pic on his site mate.. but it will be safer to stick with what you already know you like.

The "ultimate" version of PAM 389, pre-order at PT!

Indeed. -
and don't worry my friend, you'll like your watch.

actually, you are right, the current crop of ROOs (and the ones before of cos) mostly suffer from the same faults. The GP, Juan Pablo Montoya, 47mm cases, and Ruben Barrichellos are different, but are flawed in other ways. I own a 57th thanks to my friend mjmj and the seller W. I would have to say that for the 57th st, I am aware of the flaws, but the watch is a very pretty one, and well worth the purchase. Believe me, I can be as pedantic as any AP fanatic when it comes to flaw spotting on the reps. I do own some gens myself, but I would still rank the 57th st rep as a very nice looking one for what it is. It may not be as accurate as I would like it to be, but I love it nevertheless.

Actually, you're missing the point entirely. But like I said, someone else with more patience will be able to answer your questions better than me. Good luck.
-
Mike, its a fantasy model, but looks very nice actually! You know, I think you could carry off the diver very well.

He is a member here, let him answer that himself if he wishes.

Everyone should have the details of the updates. The community deserves to know I guess, especially for those involved.

I was merely jesting Tomhorn and I hope you did not take it to heart. You are right, dates come in all shapes, sizes, idiosyncrasies and background, and online dating websites allow others and us the luxury of showing the sides of us which we want the world to see. So often, the facade which others present to us to score a good first impression unravels in varying degrees and we get to see the real person within later. The perils of online dating also come with thrills, of which I am familiar with, having found my wife through online dating. I humbly apologise for my distasteful comments about the elephant girl earlier M Tomhorn and I wish you all the best in your explorations.

Hey mmmazing, You have 9 posts and joined for a grand total of 26 days. Please have some courtesy and don't shoot off one question after another with not even a thank you in between. Its people like you that cause a lot of us here to not take well to newbies. Go find out more on your own, I am not your wikipedia. I'm done with you. You will find others here more patient than me toward you I'm sure.

oh, you're asian too. Welcome then to the dodgy end in a hobby thats already somewhat dodgy.

Guys, guys Relax.. the market for queerboy replica watches is on the rise. If you don't like the present version, wait till you see the v2. Floursecent hello kitty face on the dial and comes with a bezel with flowery scent, courtesy of Chanel eau de parfum..
-
man, thats sounds horrible.. you made it sound like you had a date with a depressed elephant gal who used to weigh 350lbs. What did she do, try to curl her trunk around you?
-
Wait for the v3.. it is coming from Puretime I think.

Always seems like so much fun.
