I don't know what you people are so impressed about. This is still WELL above my budget for watches ;-).

For those of you who say that larger 36mm diam + Rolexes look nice, it really depends on the woman, her style, and especially her AGE. A woman of a certain age will look very very silly wearing a large obviously men's watch, those who can "get away with it" are those who are "under 30" or thereabouts.

I wouldn't sell the 1755. It's an inexpensive rep so you won't get much for it in return, and for what it is, truly the watch is a very accurate replica. If you're looking for a Manual Handwind 30-minute chronographe, have you perhaps considered a Breguet rep? They are quite accurate and nice in design too.

Friends, Among the many beautiful creations Patek Philippe presented at this year's Basel watch fair, one of the biggest surprises was a re-designed Nautilus available in a greater variety of materials - including full rose gold, white gold, and even bling bling. While the classic 1970s shape remains, the greatest change was given to the dial - it is now graced by a circular motif, includes arabic numerals at the twelve-o-clock position, and a blend of both smooth and textured surfaces. Don't worry though, these new models are specifically sized down for women - the originals still remain; but, it is likely Patek is using them to test market reaction for a future men's update to the watch. Given the Nautilus is one of the hottest selling replicas on the market - in both MBK and standard variety - I have to ask if you welcome the updates or prefer the original design. Personally, I find the new look very fresh and stylish; though the "12" marker just doesn't look right and the hands seem a tad too thick. Here are some photos from the fair... There is a very good lemania-based chrono malte VC rep already in distribution, I'm afraid to say the one of your choice - albeit quite intriguing - is more fantasy than reality. Still, if you like it, why not get it? At least you'll have a unique watch to call your own.

Obviously, the Daytona is my favorite of the bunch... how is the reliability on it? Great collection, by the way..!!

Listen, if I were you, I would go to a UN dealer and just get a new gen strap. I think it is a fair investment to make. Further, let me add that I am surprised a two year old high-end watch's bracelet is already showing signs of wear. For thousands of dollars it should last a little longer than that!

Fountain pen would be ideal for this kind of creation because attaching a ball point to such a beautiful piece of art is sort of like sticking a quartz movement into a navitimer...

Dear friends, I know my presence on RWG has been lacking as of late, but during the recession, finding the time for hobbies is never easy. For this I apologize and humbly ask for any advice you could give regarding my little fleabay dilemma... A few hours ago I bought an item on ebay for a very low price. I bid on it like an auction, thinking there was no way I met the reserve, but won anyway. Wonderful, I thought, what a tremendous deal. I paid for the item right away, as is my style (being honest), but the seller refunded me a while ago with the message: "sorry, my supplier says the item is out of stock, I am sorry for your troubles". So I politely replied asking him if he could ask the "supplier" when the "item" will be "back in stock". A little birdie tells me he screwed up the auction (looks like a ebay newbie) and forgot to set a reserve... creating a NR auction by accident. The listing says funds were refunded (they were indeed, into my PP), but ebay is still prompting me to pay for the item/leave feedback. The problem: I don't want my money, I want my thing!! What should I do? Hassle this guy until he sends me my thing? Leave negative feedback? Call him? Call the FBI? Legal threats? Fire? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, Thanks guys Corgi.

What an eye-opener. This is what they all look like- the lume application is especially poor.

Well now this is true; in the end a gen is a gen.. and no rep can ever come close. In appearance - maybe - but in quality, never.

The funny thing is that a lot of these gens are available as really high quality reps!
