I purchased a genuine Mont Blanc wallet for about $300 and I was very impressed with the quality of the leather and the robustness of the product. I always have many coins and even though the little coin purse is always bulging the wallet has stayed together impressively. I am concerned a rep wallet might fall apart or have an odor.

You know what he did is pretty clever. If he made a post here at RWG, and asked us to "list all the faults with the GMTII", we would tell him to read and research on his own. The YM has many good reps, if you want a gen rollie, go for a Daytona or something more complex that is poorly repped. I think since you already have a quality YM rep and wear it regularly it's good enough. I think anybody who buys a gen Rolex and it doesn't have gold or isn't a Daytona is making a foolish purchase (sorry in advance).

Two for me. I don't even know how they got there - I never really cared for Breitlings; that is, until I wore the Navitimer. What a piece! It blows the Daytona out of the water, and I just had to get another. This time I went for a Chronomat Evolution, gorgeous! And that bezel... holy cow what a sparkle this thing makes. Unreal.

The problem is that many of these Concord C1s have seconds subdials that are slightly out of place. At least that's what I gather from reading some member's concerns.

They carefully inspected the contents; A Vacheron Constantin The packet was labeled ambiguously, the customs officer just put it all back and charged me some completely arbitrary minimal charge... like $7.83... 9/10 times I have not been charged. They won't confiscate your watch. Depending on where you are my greatest concern would be for the safety of your watch. Canada Post workers can be pretty brutal with packages.

I wouldn't want to live in the countryside. Insects, slower 9-1-1 response, far away from everything (even going to the store for bread is a long distance trip), you're always last in case of power shortage, and "country" houses often need repair. Sure we've all thought about this - but what looks nice in pictures is not always nice in reality, you know? Still, if you don't mind the trade-offs, a life in peaceful serenity and privacy does have its advantages. Good luck chasing your dream buddy.
