The sub-second version is an older discontinued version. I would go with no sub-seconds, quartz movement for the best accuracy/reliability combination on this one.

I like how it doesn't have a date - makes setting the time much easier.

The oversize fad is catching on with Rolex as well... it is so prominent that they have in fact released updated models with beefed-up diameters to cater to this new trend. Sadly, it is nothing but a trend - and I'm more than happy sticking with a smaller sized but gentlemanly timepiece than having my wrist scream its worth at passers-by.

Clueless masses will jump on his goods to be sure, but I think experienced members will know to steer clear of the sub-standard offerings.
